Until told otherwise my Warden is stationed at Montsimmard with Loghain. He visits Morrigan and his son at the Imperial Palace in Val Royeaux regularly. He occasionally returns to Ferelden to visit Fergus and check on Alistair and Anora.
How is Loghain alive in that playthrough where you married Alistair to Anora? I don't recall a option to not kill him and Alistair remaining a Grey Warden.

Hardened Alistair will become King with Anora if you persuaded him to marry her before hand when you recruit Loghain.

I do kind of wish there was a Alistair and Loghain both recruitable option. Even if I had to do a bunch of crap sidequests to get access to it.
Ah well.
