I know what you think, it's way too early to even talk about even not yet announced DLC, and I know that lot of you will say: "Inquisitor, don't even think about flirting with my Grey Warden's maid!" I can understand that. Me myself - I have a warden who chose Leliana as well - but I also have one who didn't. Furthermore surely there are some players whose Leliana is some sort of widow after her warden made the ultimate sacrifice.

And for all the other players who have an "unbounded" or widowed Leliana in stock, I dare to say that is quite sad, that one of the most interesting and complex characters in the Dragon Age franchise has no opportunity for being romanced in Dragon Age Inquisition.

About ten years have passed at the time of the inquisition since the events in DA:O as far as I am informed, and surely the years have changed Leliana, maybe hardened her. But I strongly believe it would be a challenging experience even for players who knew her as a romance in DA:O. to meet this new Leliana and to find out that they have to tear down some walls around her in order to reach her inner self.

It is just a litlle spinning and brainstorming, but maybe it can become more...It would be a waste if not ;)

What do you think?

I know! Not in the game itself...That's not the point. The idea is to make her romanceable in an upcoming DLC

And I'm willing to bet the answer is still an unambiguous no.

Why ? How will this be the slightest bit different from romancing her in Origins ?

A DLC for the sole purpose of making someone romancable does not sound too good to me. A DLC for the sake of progressing the story? That sounds better.

Not everyone has to be romanceable....

But if you really want to romance her? Then romance her in DAO. It's that simple.

Leliana is my favourite character of the franchise so far, and easily my favourite romance option. But no. If they really need to add more romance content in future DLC, then they should add more content to the existing options, or add options that haven't already been available. But seriously, romance is but a small portion of option content. Isn't 8 potential options enough?

I admit I'd love to continue my Warden's romance with Leliana and Leliana's romance arc is part of why I love her character.

But that would not fit with the Inquisitor.

The 8 options thing rings a little hollow now that we know most of them are for straight women.

Two romances for straight men is the same as in Origins and Dragon Age 2.

It's not like we're getting shortchanged.

I would pay very very much to play the Warden again.

Or Hawke.

But that's still, very very unlikely.

I understand the original poster, though.

Leliana is the Best Love InterestTM.

Why ? How will this be the slightest bit different from romancing her in Origins ?

Because there are ten years between these two games - and a lot happend to Leliana in these years. She is now some sort of power player - "the left hand of the Chantry" and this has to have changed her. She isn't the soft and kind young woman anymore. Watch the first gameplaytrailer and you know what I mean

Of course not for the only purpose of Romancing her - more of a sideeffect ;)

She is different now which means it is a different experience with a different character (Warden/Inquisitor)

True. But the whole "8 Options!!1!!" needs to stop being a talking point. Especially when aruing with people who are obviously disappointed with female LIs we have this time around. BW should have never used "More LIs than any DA game!!" as a talking point. It got everyone's hopes up.

Well, it should happen for Zevran Fans in a story based DLC., more than the other DAO L.I.Why you may ask? The infamous DA2 Zevran Bug, and how every other LI has appeared in all 3 games (bar Morrigan, but she did have her own DLC.) and he was cut from the comics.

Zevran fans have been the most shafted in DA thus far. <_<

You could always head canon that your inquisitor gets into a relationship with Leliana.
