I think what he's trying to say is that with Airstrikes are so cheap to afford, it makes doing missions stealthily pointless.
Not a bad thing, more ways to play. One could still choose to go full on stealth if they so desired and I like that.

I bet they will, in Ground Zeroes I believe I had unlocked an SMG that had a suppressor (I won't swear to it, but I'm positive I did).
Two weeks left peeps, two weeks.
Hideo Kojima has revealed that he is editing a new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer, which is likely to be the last, and his last, before the game launches.
He took to Twitter to make the announcement. “As the launch is approaching I'm editing new trailer w/less spoiler. ‘The evolution & harmony of Metal Gear,’ if I name it in EXPO-ish theme,” he tweeted.

Too much hype, somebody please tranq Kojima.
i don't know are they trying to sell it that hard, or Kojima is just that proud of his last MG game.
According to Kojima, this is the game he always wanted to create.
He's always saying that -- This time he'll be done for real though.According to Kojima, this is the game he always wanted to create
I'm making a new trailer for MGS series fans. It's not a Hollywoody big budget pre-rendered one but it'll be "hand made" w/ sweet memories.
Also a new screenshot from Kojima, presumably from the trailer:

Damn Big Boss, you look scary and sexy at the same time (it's not gay if it's Big Boss).
Looking forward to it. The trailer I mean.
... last "open world" game i used to play was DAI. And if i would describe DAI in one word, if would use word 'tedious'. I really hope TPP would provide us with better experience.

Wonder how many will get the reference.
The Big Lebowski!
Over the line!
Wonder how many will get the reference.

It's not gay if you don't look him in the eyes.
It's not gay if you don't look him in the eyes.
But I do gaze longingly at that lone blue sphere. ![]()
Anyway time for more MGS patented homoeroticism.
And:
... a child in a pc game holding ak in a more proper manner than a real life owners of said rifle.
Hideo Kojima’s original Metal Gear was a top-down, screen-by-screen stealth title. Compared to the massive and ambitious world of The Phantom Pain, it’s hard to believe both games are products of the same creative mind. A series can’t survive this long without evolving, and The Phantom Pain is a testament to the importance of taking risks. An open world, a customizable base, a variable mission structure – these are not traditional aspects of Metal Gear, but they are what makes The Phantom Pain such an exceptional game. The gameplay, storytelling, and protagonists in Metal Gear may shift with each new installment, but Kojima’s ability to surprise and enthrall gamers remains unchanged.
Here's Kotaku's: http://kotaku.com/iv...ntom-1726029596
"After more than 30 hours with the newest Metal Gear Solid, I’m convinced that Phantom Pain is the best Metal Gear yet, a game with extraordinary scope, inimitable style, and some of the most satisfying sneaking and creeping I’ve ever performed either in a video game or IRL. Particularly diehard fans might be miffed at how far The Phantom Pain has strayed from the formula established by Hideo Kojima’s first few Metal Gear Solid games, but in my eyes, just about every change is welcome. Older Metal Gear Solids had baffling controls, odd camera angles, and an incomprehensible story. Metal Gear Solid V has easy controls, a great camera, and… an incomprehensible story."
Incomprehensible my ass.
that... bad?
