Gonna assume there won't be co-op like in Peace Walker then? Because that multiplayer was a lot better than the stuff from MGS4.
There was some of the versus maps I liked, the tight, enclosed, street areas, where you could really use your CQC and stealth mechanics to the fullest. Also I enjoyed disguising myself as a cardboard box in between a pile of other boxes -- Clever way to get the jumpon my friends when I played with them. This trailer didn't feel particularly engaging.

Hard to believe he's in his 50's, isn't it? The man already has a lifetime achievement award, and he's got another 50 years to go, lol. But EA, I'm glad you're excited enough that you're actually posting in this thread! I've been telling you to play Metal Gear for like, ever. ;P

 

Aaaaanyway, I just needed to say that MGO3 looks freaking awesome. That game mode they were playing looked like it was most likely Team Sneak? I honestly wish I could've sunk more time into MGO2. Easily my favorite multiplayer experience, by a long shot. I remember when they added boxrunning... the terrifying moment when a box screams and tackles you. And also the <SING> function. Memories~

 

I'll be playing religiously when it's released.

Some of the most enjoyable online matches i had were in MGO2. Even more so when Frothgar or Cham3leon played.

Hopefully that's not a placeholder date, also I recall an interview earlier this year where IGN or however revealed the date was in March but the article was pulled and the date was changed to Q1 2015.
