Okay, the word from David Hulegaard is that the +10% melee defense is the correct bonus.

 

And they are looking into getting these (and some other) issues sorted out.

awesome.  I love bioware already....and now they made the Qunari better!  I'm telling you...they give me my dual wielded 2 handed weapons for my Qunari Warrior and I'm sending all their offices pizza, a coffee/cappuccino maker, and some steaks!

Hopefully this means I can stack past 100% Melee Defense with a Qunari Rogue.
