For the face scan, you only can scan faces.

Here is the problem, sometimes it is hard to distinguish someone's face from his/her arse. Now imagine try to program a machine to do that. It is gonna be harder.

Seeing a replica of your face speaking with an entirely different voice would be quite scary...

I rather the CC be good enough that I could recreate my face if I wished honestly.

It could be very cool, I don't usually self insert but I might enjoy at least one playthrough as a character that looks like me. Although, the changes are I'll end up editing the character so much there won't be much resemblance left.   I already do this on the rare occasion I take character inspiration from how I myself look. But yeah,  could be great for immersion for those  who really dig this kinda stuff.
