Interesting.  I wonder what choices will be available and how directly these choices will be felt or seen.

Probably only gonna do it when someone really deserves it, but I wonder if the 'execute them yourself' option just involves getting up from your throne and lopping their head off right there.

I don't want to get blood all over my pretty throne room.

Depends on how much the mage in question pisses me off if I feel tranquility is warranted.

For the most part though I'll be the good ol' queen of hearts. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS.

Im hoping its a decapitation or at least a dramatic stab(or disinigration if you're a mage) and not the infamous murder knife that sprays blood all over the place

That's what I'm saying. Way too messy. I don't want to get blood all over my throne, and my clothes.

...actually, the ideal scenario would just be installing a moon door in Skyhold. :S

I can at least make a convicted mage useful if I make him tranquil instead of executing him.  Then, once he's served his time, I can just make him untranquil again now that there's a method for that and see if he's rehabilitiated.

Err... you do know that to "untranquilify" you have to be possessed by a fade spirit.

I'm trying not to get my expectations too high for this feature, as it seems like something that they could be easily hyping up and its relatively small and limited. BUT IT SOUNDS SO COOL....so yeah, uh. Expectations low, as you can see. :P

Its like Crow T. Robot's Christmas wish come true:

Joel: "Crow, what do u want for Christmas?"
Crow: "I want to decide who lives and who dies!"

"your choices will have an impact on the lives of those who cross your path."

Does this mean I can kill Cullen? If not, it is a moot point.

I love the fact that my choice will affect quest, SkyHold and even my companion.

But in my style, I will not tranquill/jester anyone. I will execution them instead if I hate them enough.

This sounds amazing, I've always loved this sort of thing...I can't wait to play judge over some people.

I'm not sure if I'll have the heart to turn anybody tranquil though, that has always seemed so horrible to me, I'll probably sooner execute them.  I suppose it could be interesting for a crazy pro templar playthrough though.

Merediths assistant was tranquil and seemed to do a good job, I personally wouldn't mind a tranquil assistant.

I wonder if the Inquisitor's fade powers could be used to remove someones tranquillity? at least temporarily like Anders did with Karl.

care to ellaborate? just dropping negativity in this thread where everyone's enthusiastic about the judgement calls and not even explaining it is silly

it wasn't done perfectly in Awakening sure but in DA:I it seems they made it much better and more detailed
I liked it already in DA:A but I will love it in DA:I Its also a perfect oportunity to roleplay our Inquisitor
what kind of man/woman is he? how far will he go? etc.

He's Free to share his opinion, even if negative. This isn't the judgement fan thread.
I like the feature myself, but I can see why it can not be liked by others.

I want heads on spikes! Starting with Anora

If you didn't choose her as queen she's likely still prisoner, and she wouldn't have done Something to Lead us to interfee with this.

"your choices will have an impact on the lives of those who cross your path."

Does this mean I can kill Cullen? If not, it is a moot point.

Why Would It be a moot point If you can't execute Cullen? They didn't say we can execute everyone.
We don't even know if Cullen will ever cross us. In my opinion the advisors won't go against us due to their role (it'd mean they created substitutes, which I don't think they did), but we'll have to see.

There certainly are one or two mages that I may be tempted to use tranquility on. Those one or two mages better hope it was a good work day  :D

I need to experiment whether Tranquillity works on none-mages..if it does, every member of the Chantry hierarchy and the templars better start running, including Cass and Lelianna.
