I just watched Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker as I had never seen it as a way to both get info on Dragon Age lore, Cassandra, and to keep myself busy until Inquisition.

Note: I hope Cassandra is half as badass in Inquisition as she is in this movie. lol

Anyway, I haven't read any of the books, comics or graphic novels because I currently lack the funds to do so unfortunately. :(

-I just wanted to start a conversation about ways, both Dragon Age related and not, that we can and are keeping ourselves busy(and sane lol) until the release of the continuation  of this most epic of sagas.

-I was accepted as a Keeper in May so that has kept up some of my time, assisting in bug hunting and creating different world states.

-I replayed Dragon Age: Origin and became Queen of Ferelden with my faithful husband Alistair hanging off of my coattails lol.

-I am currently replaying and in Act 3 of Dragon Age 2 doing a Templar centric playthrough to get my last Achievement(Side with the Templars 5 times-which I never side with them once so this is a tough Achievement for me).

-I frequent this forum and the Keep forum as much as possible, sharing opinions and trying to generate conversation.

-Currently reading and enjoying the Dragon Age Confessions tumblr. lol http://dragonageconf...ons.tumblr.com/

-My Warden that I will have in my first play of Inquisition will be a redhead Female Warrior Noble(Queen of Ferelden) named Amy(if she is in Inquisition of course) who was a Mage sympathizer.

-My Hawke is a blonde(the first blonde I have ever played as btw-im usually a redhead ^) named Amelia and she is a Double Dagger wielding Rogue who also sides with Mages and Romanced Fenris, but as a friend flirted with Aveline lol.

-And last but not least I have already created my first Inquisitor in my head and headcanon for her.

-Name: Amelie or Usagi Levellan

-Voice-British(I love you AWR!)

-Elven

-Strawberry blonde hair

-Female

-Mage

-Bisexual

-Romancing either Iron Bull or Sera

-Rift or Knight Enchanter Specialization

-Neither Mage or Templar sympathizer-Neutral

-Sarcastic(but not in a mean way, in a funny way)

-High expectations of the Inquisition

-Not harsh but won't take shite from anyone

Non Dragon Age related ways I'm keeping busy are:

-Gonna see the movie Tusk today lol.

-Playing Destiny on Xbox One currently

-Writing my fanfiction stories

-Went to DragonCon just this August

-Having a tattoo designed(a back piece) it's a collage of all of my favorite anime(Sailor Moon, DBZ, etc.), comic(Marvel and DC), video game(Mass Effect, Dragon Age, etc), etc things.

That's all I have for now, unfortunately.

What are some of the ways you all are keeping busy for the next 58 days?

Maybe you all can give me some suggestions and hopefully I may have given you all some.

Thanks! <3

A more than decent suggestion. I will definitely look into this. Thanks!

I am trying to maintain my work, study and personal life. Okay, the latter is non-existent. But at least I have a cat.

  • Every Sunday I have a bake day (seriously, I won't fit into my jeans).
  • I'm thinking about taking art lessons again.
  • I learn poems.
  • I'm moving furniture (I have moved it three times this week only).
  • I'm having D&D nights.
  • On my own.
  • Yes, I'm that single.
  • Just kidding, I am not.

So, anything in order not to get mad from waiting. As for suggestions... well... For some reason nothing except adopting a kid comes to mind. But maybe you can adopt fish? Make your life a challenge, try to keep fish alive. Or go all-Shepard on fish. My cat always goes krogan on fish. Fish is not allowed in our house.

-I have 2 jobs I am balancing lol.

-Thinking about rearranging my entire apt for the next week or so.

-Maybe even painting said apt.

-Art lessons would be fun-that's a good suggestion.

I have no personal life either lol

I have a puppy(named Otter) and a kitten(named Mina) I take care of. Im not a fish person really, even aside from the fact that my cat would eat the fish.

Am homebound, so replaying games and watching various shows & films is about it for me. Currently finishing another Sentinel Paragon Shepard ME3 campaign, watching the 'Flashpoint' series, and awaiting The Keep as a way to dull the ache before Nov.

If at some point you have an image of that tattoo design, i'd be interested in looking at it. Not for personal use, just sounds interesting tis' all, however I understand if you don't want to risk someone copying it. Sounds interesting!

I'm also replaying Puzzle Quest 2. And I'm seriously stuck. I've played it before and I've made a decent progress, but for some reasons now I can't move past the first set of caves. I'm getting killed by everything. Even the rats.

I think I'll install Baldur's Gate and all the mods and have a several weeks BG marathon with my super-intelligent 1HP protagonist.

I really like self-imposed challenges in videogames. I've just finished NWN with a bard with no combat skills and low constitution and strength. Then I will play Fallout New Vegas with a low health, low strength and low intelligence Courier. I have no idea how I'm going to survive.

Destiny has done a decent job of keeping me busy in the downtime - which is a pleasant surprise. If you can get the books, I'd definitely second the idea of reading those!

I'm mostly worried about that two week period in November. Nothing will help!

I like this thread.

I have a bunch of games i got for free with Games with Gold that i haven't gotten around to playing/finishing so i'm working my way through them, just finished Dust, an elysian tale (which i really enjoyed) and Dishonored (meh was ok) About to start into my third attempt at dark souls but i find that it gets annoying when 10hrs in your internet goes down and the game save corrupts.

Also been watching alot of marvel and dc animated movies and what not.

Life will keep you busy one way or another. If you find yourself not being busy enough, you're doing it wrong.

Read. There are tons of free kindle books on the amazon site in every genre you can think of. You don't need a kindle, just the free app on your computer, tablet or phone. :) (There's also lots of really good DA fan fiction out there too, and it's also free to read.)

Take up a hobby. You can cross-stitch or knit, or any other type of craft or distraction you might prefer.

If you facebook, join a Dragon Age group (or a dozen!) and discuss all things in the DA-verse.

Get a twitter account and follow the game devs. That's great fun, and gives so much more insight into all the hard work that goes into making such an awesome game.

These are just a few things I've been doing to keep occupied until November. ^_^

I still need to read the Masked Empire and the Last Flight, so it should be perfect to help me bridge these last few weeks.

Other than that I'm replaying DA:O again, on two saves (one which got paused because I didn't play for a while and decided to refresh my knowledge with another new one). I'll probably go through DAII again as well, probably on a female Hawke this time, since my others are male.

I'll also be playing Star Wars: The Old Republic a bit every now and then. Kinda waiting for the next big update, but it seems like it'll be after DA:I is already out. Talk about bad timing.  :(

Oh, and I picked up the ME3 MP again, though I'm not sure how long that one'll last, since I've always played it pretty casually.

All of those should keep me plenty busy until DA:I arrives (I suspect I won't be able to do the DAII game, unless something happens and I wind up with a ton of extra free time).

Right now I am trying to cling onto Destiny to keep my mind occupied.

I am going to have a dismal few weeks, the Borderlands the Pre-Sequel comes out Oct 14. Hopefully that will last me about 2 weeks. Then Sunset Overdrive is out, and I will cling onto that for dear life until Assassin's Creed Unity on Nov 11. Then I probably won't even have time to finish that, and then DAI and Farcry 4 will be here! (I am obviously dropping everything and playing DAI relentlessly before I do anything else in life.)

I'm writing out answers to a 100 character building questionnaire. I'm thinking of doing several in-depth answers everyday until Inquisition coming out.

like Fanfiction prompts but organizing thoughts about who your inquisitor is going to be.

http://www.miniworld...BackGround.html Here's the Link  :P

It has 7 parts;

1.The Basics

2.Childhood

3.Past influences

4.Beliefs and Opinions

5.Relationships with Others

6.Likes and Dislikes

7.Self Images and Etc.

It's very thorough.

For me... I have a variety of ways.

Dragon Age related

1. Replaying both Dragon Age: Origins & Dragon Age II

2. Reading the books, currently Last Flight

3. Dragon Age Keep

Non-Dragon Age

1. Saints Row IV co-op with friends

2. The Secret World

3. Diablo III, mostly rifts, especially greater with some occasional bounties

4. Watch_Dogs

5. Plus trying out some games I've collected in my Steam library recently (which is quite a few)

Working on a Dragon Age cosplay! :D

Staring at characters for hours in order to recreate them really creates a certain type of hype!

Absolutely no problem! I don't mind sharing it! I hope to be able to at least get the outline done before DA:I and I'll post it then. Trying to determine what DA and Mass Effect stuff I want in there.

I agree. Unless they release a Character Creator demo(here's hoping!) those last 2 weeks are going to be a special type of hell.

I just made it to the Moon in Destiny and I stopped playing because of job and schedule stuff but I have about 4 days in a row off work soon and I'm gonna play the **** out of some Destiny and finish up my replay of DA2.

I'm not as old as some of you guys here (22 years old) but I'm currently balancing school, work, and personal life things to keep my mind off of Inquisition. Thinking about it makes the wait so much more unbearable :/

Haven't been this impatient for a game since Mass Effect 3. Well, let's just hope the end result isn't the same, though I did very much enjoy most of Mass Effect 3.

Graduate school takes a lot out of me, I'm there Monday-Thursday, then Friday I have a shift at this restaurant near my house. I'm free on the weekends to hang with friends/family or play video games, as it is my biggest hobby. I'm currently playing Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition on my PS4 and I'm loving it. So it's keeping my RPG appetite sated until November. At least I hope it will.

Time is going by pretty quickly, we'll all make it soon!
