Hi, activated DAO Ultimate through Origin - and it misses a half of DLCs, 'available content' page is not active in game while I logged in, I can't upload any screenshot etc.

Long story short, this is the full description: http://answers.ea.co...gin/m-p/3551677

Does anyone have the same problem? Does anyone know how to solve it? I do not need uploading, but I want to play game. But it seems that the source of the problem is the same.

try services.msc and see if the dragon age service is running

It's not running because bin_ship\daupdatersvc.service.exe is missing. I reinstalled and it doesn't appear. I can also see that DALauncher is missing too (some folks write that it missed in their packages too - those hwo reinstalled game this month).

I don't know about the rest, but to grab the DLCs:

Log into social.bioware.com, go to My Games--> Your Registered Game Content, and you can manually download and install all the DLCs you are missing.

It could help but I have no content there, and this is a problem too.

So Support said my problems were adressed to some specialists and they will contanct me... sometime... I hope.

So... my case is still in work. Some tech spec said that something is really wrong and forward my case to some more specific specialst which can reply... in weeks. Well... at least my profile is updating now.

What happened is, they reworked the DA:O installer to be more "Origin friendly". Thing is, when they do that, they tend to mess things up. I sincerely hope they'll fix it.

They gave the ME2 the same treatment and now, you can't run it through Origin (at least you couldn't when I last tried) 'cause they removed things like Launcher from the installation package (since Origin is supposed to replace the Launcher, right). But when you click play in Origin, it's still trying to launch the Launcher app. The one the devs removed. And it's doing this for a long time now. So... let's just hope they'll fix this one... faster :D

So, I went and redownloaded the game and, it's like I said. They changed the installer to the "Origin" version. Removed launcher, incorporated automatic patches etc. What they also did is they disabled the ability to download the DLCs through the game. For the DLC to work now, you have to instal them through Origin. Then, they'll work. Problem is, not all DLC are on Origin as of now. So the obvious solution is to wait till they put all of the DLC on Origin.
