Has it been addressed as to whether or not a character's bonus skill, selected at the beginning of a 2nd+ playthrough after earning the achievement for usage in previous games, will be carried over to imported characters in Mass Effect 2?

For example, I have an Infiltrator with AI hacking and a Vanguard with Singularity - will they still be able to use those skills after the import?

What about bonus talents from ME2 playthroughs? I would really like vanguard's charge for my soldier.

I doubt you can get class specific abilities, but who knows.



Vanguard can learn to use AR's... So just do that.

I thought AR was soldier exclusive.



The bonus talent as far as I can tell in ME2 is acquired through research and only a select set of talents can be learned (can only use 1 but can swap out mid game, not locked to your character at start), unlike the bonus tied to achievements like ME1 that let you grab just about anything.



This is entirely based on a screenshot I looked at, so there could be more.

Christina Norman said that all classes can learn to use AR. Im not sure how though. If it replaces a bonus power I might think twice about it because I dont know anything about slam or warp ammo yet. I think I will probably buy the strategy guide so I can plan my shepard. Im still torn between soldier and vanguard.
