I came for dragon age inquisition info before that section went full retard. I now spend most of my time at off topic in the anime, RWBY and workday cheer thread. I also spend a lot of time in PM.

I've been posting on Bioware's forums for close to a decade. The developers have always had really fun interactions with the community and their games have always been so fantastic. (Minus DA2 and ME3) >_<

 

I'm new to off topic though... Some people in here are alot of fun!

First it was keeping up on what's new with Bioware. Now it's just nice to know some people are way more messed up than me, and it helps me sleep better at night

Like some others here, I was initially brought over by the whole ME3 ending controversy; I was a semi-regular poster on the old "All Were Thematically Revolting" thread from back in the heydey of that controversy (although looking back, I do get that embarassed feeling that comes with reading stuff you wrote a while a go and realizing "Man, I wasn't anywhere near as smart as I thought back then"). Since then, I haven't written or even thought much about the ending at all, but I still do enjoy having conversations with like-minded folks about games, movies or whatever. Sometimes, I even enjoy those conversations more than the actual act of playing the games, so there you go.

 

It's actually rather similar with me. I registered back in '09 because of Dragon Age: Origins, but rarely ever visited the BSN, because I was too busy playing the game and talking about it with my friends who also played it. Then came DA2, and suddenly I found myself both severely disappointed with the game and without anyone with whom to talk about it (none of my friends played DA2 anywhere near release), and so I came here to talk about it with the BSN folks.

 

After DA2 I threw myself at the Mass Effect franchise. I was looking forward to the release of ME3 more than I had with any other game for quite some time. I started posting slightly more regularly when the Origin requirement started looming on the horizon. And I never really left the ME3 boards again until after the Citadel DLC release. That was the time I knew that Mass Effect for me was simply over and there was nothing more to talk about.

 

Now I'm sporadically hanging out in Off-topic. It's kinda nice here. Sometimes.
