what other companions you'd like to see in the next Mass Effect?

I'd like to see companions from races that haven't been used yet--vorcha, hanar, volus, thresher maw, etc.

 

Also, a krogan love interest would be awesome.

Yeah, Kal really rocked. I think Nihlus is the only one who has him beat when it comes to how much a fan I am of him in relation to how much screen-time he has. Would have loved to see him return in ME3 (and get together with Tali!)

 

Anyway, yeah, a male quarian would be awesome. Preferably a soldier (so we can get that Kal badassery).

 

Would also LOVE to see a female turian (romanceable, kthxplz!). Considering the lack of female turians in the trilogy, I can actually say that I would be severely disappointed if they did not have one as a companion. We need more female turians in general, and one in the squad to make up for the previous lack of them.

Not trying to stretch anything - I like the idea of a Quarian male squadmate.  I just hope he's not too much like Kal'Reegar.  

 

He was really awesome in ME2.  I had him stand up for Tali (loyalty mission) in ME2, along with Veetor'Nara.  After such awesomeness in ME2, I thought Reegar deserved better than a mere e-mail explaining that he was killed like a mangy dog.

I'm not forgetting her, actually. I love her. But the presence of a single female turian in a single DLC (okay, two - there was that one on Garrus' Citadel DLC date) does not go against my statement that there is a lack of them. Sure, she is a companion, but only for like half that DLC, and you only have one proper conversation with her. We need a full companion! And loads and loads of NPCs for that matter. Turian females are out and about in the galaxy just as much as Turian men, and it's about time that's reflected in the games.

Yes, I'd love to see a Male Quarian, but again not another Kal. Tali came across as being very vulnerable and naive initially, becoming more brash later, whilst I feel Kal was made to be the opposite of her. It would be good to see someone in between them on the spectrum: not the war veteran, but not the sniffling teenager that Tali was.

 

Yes to seeing a Turian Female squadmate too. But I'd like to see more aliens in our crew too, not just as squadmates. But I guess that depends on if we're flying an Alliance Ship or not.

Only unmasked quarians though. It's past time they stop using those. I'd also add:

Salarian

Asari criminal/mercenary (make her a grizzled vet like Zaeed but with Aetheyta's demeanor)

I'd replace the Krogan 'tank' character with a Yahg.

 

The recruitment alone would be interesting. According to the lore Yahg only cooperate when one of them manages to establish dominance over the others. After that, the Yahg who have been dominated are completely loyal. That would probably mean you'd need to fight and defeat the Yahg before he or she would join.

Not forgetting her, I use her as my Avatar for a reason. She was awesome, but 1 female turain in 3 games kind of sucked. Alo she's only with you for like 20 minutes. A full turian female companion, is needed in the next game.
