basically, by the time I'm done shooting my 3 shots, I'm ready to hit it again if I want. If we're in a scram, I'll hit the shield and turret again first. I use the flamethrower on my turret to set off explosions, or incindiary ammo. Mainly though I use my team's two Vorchas or Geth Troopers flamers though to handle the priming.
Basically, Ravagers are my primary weakness in Platinum with this build, and the 4 shots didn't kill them fast enough. The three with the Power Magnifier seems to get the job done in a jiffy.

Ironically in this way, the Vorcha are more durable than a Volus with a Geth Trooper, and we get it finished in about 23 minutes on a smaller map like Glacier. None of my friends are anywhere close to a full manifest, and we use the best we have, which is really our level 20 characters and powers more than our weapons. My Jug in random Golds usually scores well (over 100K), but to be honest, "holding the line" and drawing aggro with my bud's Jug while the other two make deliveries or handle devices unmolested in Platinum is where I love my Jug. The two Jugs really make Platinum more a farming technique, but legitimatelyrather than a high-stress Platinum run like we've done with Ghosts or other characters. I run the Power Amplifier if I know the map and know there's good cover with good lines of sight against the ravagers. If it's a new map, it's Hydra, or we're trying something new, I run the Cyclonic III to just play it safe.
It's a fun build, and he can easily go down though if I'm not careful. He's anything but immortal, well, maybe with the Cyclonic IIIs on he gets as close as one can get, but is a good all-around support/tank.
If anyone wants to hit me up, and see my Jug, I'd love to show him. I'm really happy with my Jug and plan on doing a solo Gold with him once I get my Hurricane up to snuff, just in case.
