But regardless of that, what do demons have to do with blood magic having an effect on the Taint?  And wasn't Avernus a blood mage?  Why didn't he experience any acceleration?  Did it have something to do with all of those Grey Wardens he sacrificed and experimented on?

 

And finally, "yay."  First Hawke is doomed to becoming lyrium addled because of an offscreen retcon about Templars, and now the Warden will die even faster because he used blood magic?    Who the heck is "Isseya" anyway?

Ok, my guess is that because Avernus wasn't a neophyte blood mage, he was better at manipulating the Taint and blood magic than Isseya, who is a Fourth Blight Grey Warden and technically killed all the griffons through the use of a blood magic disease that she accidentally created.

Ok, my guess is that because Avernus wasn't a neophyte blood mage, he was better at manipulating the Taint and blood magic than Isseya, who is a Fourth Blight Grey Warden and technically killed all the griffons through the use of a blood magic disease that she accidentally created.

So it's because of this "Isseya" person that future generations of Grey Wardens will bear the burden of going off to war on horseback or even worse... by marching?  *shudder*  They're barely a step above peasants thanks to her!  This is unforgivable.  One more nail in blood magic's coffin, like it needed that.

cause the blood magic just powers the spell, the actual blood doesn't touch the demon while being summoned. and i believe the spell also forcibly brings the demon into the mortal world, they enjoy cause they want to be in the mortal world.

Indeed. But a demon will almost definitely choose a normal mage over a tainted one. This is somewhat resolved as well. They really do hate the taint but after all they really want to possess something.

I don't think there's enough proof to say that. In game how many warden mages to we see?

We have absolutely no proof of that at all. Just because they find it difficult to fight the taint when it's used against them doesn't mean that they prefer to possess normal mages instead of Grey Warden mages.

Well if the warden is mage (at least i think so) in daa demon in daa doesn't seem to care about taint and says that it waited entire it's existence for mage or at least i think it says that only to mage warden.

Yes, but we see very few warden mages.  The warden can be a warden mage, but possession never comes up in the story because it's the playable character.  Anders is probably the only other Warden mage we see for extended amounts of times.  It's never brought up with Bethany or Velanna, either before they are tainted or afterwards so we have no way of knowing. 

 

We see warden possession twice in the books, once with Fiona in the Calling, and other wardens in the Last Flight.  Demons don't seem to care much; there isn't evidence to say that they prefer untainted bodies, no lore or conversations that back up your claims. 

 

Uldred's possessed form in the circle tower didn't seem to care the Warden was tainted if a mage; it still wanted to make the Warden an abomination.

Meh, I'd say Wynne's more unique cause she was actually brought back for near death, plus she's far more powerful than Anders so..
