Why are my cool downs so atrocious during the solo portion of the Citadel DLC? Overload cool down, for instance, is about two seconds longer than it should be, even without any armor mods.

I think it is because the version of the Suppressor I you get for that portion weighs a whole lot more than the version of the Suppressor I it becomes after that portion.

As capn233 put it, you get the Suppressor 0.1

I suspect you are right. I just checked Liara's cool downs and they are the same as ever. Only Shepard seems to get shafted.

Yes, the Suppressor you use in that mission is a special one with unique stats.  The name for it is essentially "Silencer_Cit001" instead of just "Silencer."

The encumbrance is 2.45, which is similar to the Javelin.

Incidentally, the Spitfire that you get at the car lot is a special version as well, and it has an encumbrance of 0. :)

"similar to the Javelin." Yikes!

Aren't all "heavy weapons" in SP "special" that way? I guess I never bother checking cuz I am not using powers when using heavy weapons. But is the spitfire in the parking lot any different than the other spitfires you can pick up such as on Korris's mission or the reaper base mission?

Maybe, I haven't taken a look at them though.  I just noticed the Spitfire when I was looking up the Suppressor stats, since it is in the same file.

You're also not wearing your armor. Everything goes back to normal once you get your armor back.

But probably it's the special silencer :P
