Cerberus should just die.

Miranda Lawson has no chance to rule Cerberus after what she got through or dead, while Oleg Petrovsky is either dead or POW. Only two good candidates to replace them and they're in no position to do that.

And Cerberus as a whole was a giant plot hole, walking retcon and damn plain terrible writing showed to people's faces in entire ME3. They should just seize to exist.

Realistically the Cerberus 'brand' should be damaged beyond all repair. They played the role of galactic traitor and nearly handed victory to the Reapers. Even people who might share some of their political beliefs would probably not one to be connected to them, as most people who would have a kneejerk negative reaction to all things Cerberus.

Should there be people with a human supremacist agenda? Sure. But they shouldn't be Cerberus.

I agree that there would be enormous pressure to go back to being clandestine and using aliases and front companies again. They have always been enemies of the Alliance and Council and being associated with them has always been dangerous, risky business - now even more so.

Cerberus is probably finished as that singular eponymous organization we all know but even so I would use the Cerberus term loosely as more of a catch-all term I would use to describe a bunch of loosely connected associated groups that may have emerged in their aftermath primarily lead by former operatives such as Lawson. Given their remit and the fact that they are probably harboring wanted fugitives they will want to steer clear of council space. Of course such groups would be suspected of having ties or even belonging to Cerberus which as I have discussed may be partly true depending on your own semantic interpretation. As I see it would be just another configuration of the same group of people.

In this way the legacy of Cerberus lives on, even if the traditional organization does not. And in any event red scare-esque rumors (i.e. Illusive Woman) and paranoia about their continued activities and shadow influence on the council, alliance and political groups will certainly continue. There will be a new poster child for political Human supremacist organization of which I'm sure which would be great news for former cerberus associated groups as the r*tards can rally behind another group and take the heat and spotlight off them so they can then devote their time/research persuits to more worthwhile endeavors that would actually improve human lives without being side-tracked by all that b.s.
