Hi Keepers! 

 

I got an awesome suggestion to open a thread where Keepers can help other Keepers with common issues they might be having on the DA Keep, so let's give this a try. We'll try to jump in here and help where possible too, but if something is a bug - please submit it through the beta feedback tool so we can more easily find and fix it.

 

So a few general rule for posting here:

  • Check the Known Issues list before posting here
  • As always, be nice and helpful! We get that something that's obvious to you, might not be as obvious to someone else.
  • For suggestions and bugs, please remember to use the beta feedback tool so we can keep track of what's happening on the site
  • Syncing may not be working for everyone (we're fixing this still).

Here are a few community guides we've been collecting, if there's something you find helpful that you'd like us to add - just send a PM to Renata or myself (Leah) and we'll add them here. A big big thank you so much everyone for putting these together.

Is there a way to fully view the messages that come with a shared world state?

 

No, that's a bug on our part. We're going to fix this :)

My best guess is that we'll get an update next Tuesday.

 

Oh great... you guys noticed the pattern. Now we're going have to actually worry about releasing on time :P

Seems like the autosolver needs to ask if you want to change your origin instead of if you married anora or not.

 

Likely does both. Or he had a lock on marriage and that was preventing the solver from even getting to the route of the problem.

There might be! I'd hold off on that for the time being as we might have to go back into maintenance again (we'll let you all know if/when that will happen).

Hi I can´t log into the keep,it says it´s undergoing maintance,is anyone else having this problem? :o

 

Yes, the Keep is under maintenance right now, but we'll be back up soon. We've also put the announcement up in the forum now (sorry about the delayed announcement, it's Monday)!

Been a week, wanted to check if my 360 achievements and Wardens showed up yet, but the site is under construction so hopefully when that is done, some of these issues will be resolved :D

 

We're still working on syncing stuff, don't worry! We'll let you all know when we have a resolution. :)

Just popping in to say that we know you're all excited about the upcoming release - but it likely won't happen until tomorrow (Wednesday). We're just squishing a few more bugs before we turn the new features over to your capable hands. Sorry about the delay, but you'll love it when you see it, we promise :)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the update is being pushed again until tomorrow (Thursday). I'll put up an announcement shortly so everyone can see it, but these bugs we're squishing are really persistent. It's on it's way, don't worry! It's just that we want you all to have a good experience using the new features, instead of a crappy one.

Ahem... anyone that saw the announcement that was previously up re: maintenance on Thursday, please disregard. Because it's October and Halloween is around the corner, I'm just going to chalk it up to ghosts ;) 

 

Sorry 'bout that. Update is still scheduled for tomorrow, though.

Petrice has had a rule added recently to link against your interactions with Varnell.  I expect it was due to that.

Can't watch the ISS. When I click on the icon it just says feature coming soon. 

 

Anyone else getting this? 

Clear your cookies/cache! It should work after that :)

I thought so. Getting a "this feature will be available soon" pop up.

Try clearing your cookies/caching, you should be able to see it then.

I doubt that bug is related to synching maintenance as I have gotten the bug where the ISS plays two versions of a scene and then hangs almost every time I've run it from when it first went live to just a few hours ago. Only time I got it to work was when I used a fresh world state and made choices at nearly every single prompt.

 

Hi! We're looking into performance with the ISS. It would be awesomely helpful if you were able to add a bug using the Beta Feedback tool in the DA Keep so we can get some extra insight into your set-up. That will help us reproduce the issues people are seeing.

I still keep getting a cannot connect page. Am I the only one getting this, it was working fine last week.

So just read the status update on what they're doing to BSN and the Keep and I have some questions.

 

-I do not have BSN Legacy, just normal BSN, what does this mean for me? What does read only mean? Because I logged onto my BSN profile and while I haven't altered anything it would let me. So I am confused.

 

-When is the next scheduled update supposed to be? Next Tuesday if it is every two weeks right?

Hey Amy!

- Legacy BSN and BSN are the same thing, that's our bad. ;)

- Read only means that the what's on BSN will no longer show as updated, the Keep will be the future home for all your heroes, accomplishments, etc.

Yes, while we're putting the syncing fixes in your custom heroes will be on a short vacation. Your career data will vanish as well - but it will be back soon :)

Do we have some sort of 'tapestry changes log' somewhere around? I think I see some flags which (I almost sure) had not been there before, but I'm not entirely sure.

 

We could look into putting this up in the future, if people are interested :)

not sure where (or to whom exactly) do i report this, but its looks like someone is breaking DA Keep NDA and uploading video(s) of Keep features to youtube 

I might be wrong, but as far as I know we are not allowed to do that :huh:

Whoa, thanks for letting us know! We appreciate it. This is indeed a violation of the NDA. (Also if you could please remove the video link from your post, that would be awesome - I know this is a private forum and it's nothing you all haven't seen, but I don't want to give this person more views).

I've been seeing a lot of the same questions getting asked, so I threw together a brief overview of the Keep to help answer some of the most burning ones.

 

 

I obtained official permission to include the footage of the Keep and it doesn't go beyond anything that's already been revealed so DO NOT do that yourself unless you have checked with the team. :)

 

To add on to this - there are a lot of new Keepers now, and we highly recommend you check out the Dos and Don'ts of Talking About the Keep post if you're not sure what you can/can't say or show.

Is the submit feedback option in the keep not working? At least when I click on it nothing happens.

 

Make sure you don't had noscript or ghostery blocking it.
