What happens if your email for social.bioware.com is different than your Origin email? I signed up for BSN ages ago using my work email, but I'm using my home email for Origin. Is there a way to link them? Or maybe move over to my home email from my work email on BSN?
I tried logging into BSN using my work address but it doesn't recognize it. I looked up the password in my browser's history to verify I was using the right one and I was. When I try logging in using my home address it tries to set me up using an new account. I tried using the 'forgot your password?' link but it sends me to the Origin password recovery, which is -- as I said above -- neither the system nor email with which I'm having password trouble.
Any suggestions?
As long as your Origin account is linked to your Xbox account or PSN account or both, it shouldn't be a problem, unless you want your BSN and Origin email to be the same.In your Origin account you should be able to change your email and I think same for BSN.
Edit: Are you able to sign into Origin with the work address?

I don't have a PS3/4 or X-Box, so no worries there ![]()
And though I'm super confused about the whole thing, apparently entering my old work address on the origin site did eventually work. I just got the email, even though I did that over an hour ago. Slow, but it worked! I just changed my password to something new and logged in successfully to the BSN. Now if I can just figure out how to merge/pair the two accounts so Keep can pick up anything stored in BSN..
Thanks DinX64!

No problem. On the Origin site you can change your email to the one you use on BSN.
Being already 108 pages I'm sure this has been asked and answered; so let me put on my Captain Obvious hat and ask what are the locking symbols used for under the tile choices?
Okay, having logged in using my old email address and investigated this further, things are far more confused & broken than I thought.
So I have two Origin accounts apparent:
Most of this stems from me creating the new Origin account for my home email much later. I probably did that because nothing indicated to me that the account I'd created for BSN had been pushed into the Origin system. If I'd know that, I'd have just used that and changed the email address.
So I think I'm completely screwed here. According to EA's help page, linking/merging accounts basically obliterates everything about them. You lose saved data & even order history. So if I do that, I've lost all my purchases. If I could do that, I'd move that over to my old work email address and delete the newer account using my home address. I'd give up my ME3 history or whatever is stored in there in return for having one account whose email I could later change into my home address (once that account was gone).
That said, when I went to look at changing the email address of my first account it asked me a security question in Japanese. I have no idea how that got in there. I never had one when I setup the account originally, so maybe its just a bad bit of default data?
At any rate, now I'm really confused. I'd hoped I could just merge them, but that apparently is out of the question. How on earth am I supposed to reconcile these accounts?
What a mess! ![]()

They lock in your choices that you definitely want to keep so that if you run into any conflicting choices the auto solver simply remind you that you locked that choice in and can't change it until you go to that choice and unlock it. This also affects the ISS where you won't be able to change those locked choices while the ISS is playing.

To make sure the solver doesn't change that choice you locked under no circumstances.
EX: If I want my Warden alive no matter what, I will lock it to ensure the choices I make adhere to that locked choice.
Another one would be I want Alistair king ,but I accidentally have him die by choosing a certain choice. The lock can prevent that from happening.

So I have two Origin accounts apparent:
- One based on my old work email (which is also my BSN account) that contains all my data from DA:O & DA2.
- One based on using my home email. This account has a pre-order for DA:I, ME3 & some other games on it.

Why don't you just load up DA:O/DA2, log into your new Origin account that has the pre order+ stuff on the title page, and upload your game data to that one? (You'll need to wait until syncing is back up)

Could try contacting EA help service to try and help you fix this problem you're having.

Really? What did they get wrong?
Really? What did they get wrong?
From what i remember that was in my case it was something about blood magic , also the warden article where it was saying for long time that the warden will be in dai based on article that DG said himself was mistranslated ,that even stayed some time after bio confirmed that warden won't appear in dai. Also it was assumed on wiki entries that leliana went after the warden and cassandra after hawke while may be true there was nowhere stated that was in case. Now wiki says that leliana infomed cass that she couldn't find the warden when it was cassandra who said "gone just like the warden" .There were few more cases , that is why im cautious about wiki and generally about websites where random peoples can edit content.

I'm talking to an EA person right now. It sounds like I might be able to merge the home account with the work account but it will mean blowing away all my progress on ME3. I still have that installed though, so hopefully I can just fire that up and restore it later.
They're hitting me with all sorts of scary warnings though. If you read their support page it sounds like after this might lose access to anything purchased on the home account. Which is the only one that has any purchases on it! They're telling me it won't lose them, but there's going to be a pretty angry email/phone call to someone if I lose the $200+ of games on that account after the merge. Though if that was the case, why the hell would anyone merge accounts?
Where can I find the Feedback Tool?
Where can I find the Feedback Tool?
In the Keep should be at the top of the Tapestry page near the right side
I would, but I don't have DA:O anywhere any more. Just too long ago! DA2 I might, but I'd need to check at home.

Ouch I really do feel for yea, honestly is it worth possibly messing up your purchases and account for a hero with your own custom name and picture?
The only differences between the default heroes and your heroes is the name and picture and neither are going to matter in the game itself since we can recreate their appearance and they'll never be addressed by their first name.
Sure the achievements not showing up sucks but...they're just achievements? Shinnies? So far we don't get anything for having them here.

I think as long you can use the Keep for DA:I and keep all your purchases and achievement intact, then you shouldn't change anything.
So, the red bookmark thing above Hero selection is supposed to indicate which heroes already have been used in different world states of yours, correct? However, I can see some heroes that are are marked I haven't used--namely, the male or female version of that hero will be marked sometimes. Sometimes it's not. For instance, I have a female Amell and a male Mahariel, both of whom are marked. The male Amell is not marked, the female Mahariel is. Is there a reason for this? Is it a bug?

The red bookmark means you have used that hero in a world state.
Edit:The red bookmark may look like it on a character you didn't use, but it maybe the character under it or next to it.

No, it is on characters I did not use. I assume it is a bug.
EDIT: Actually, wait, I think I know why it happens. If I randomized a world and then changed the hero, the bookmark sticks to the original person (and new person).
@ Devil's Advocate: Thanks, found....right under my nose. DOH!
So, the ISS works a lot better now. No cut off lines, picture of the smugglers/mercenaries are right, it runs better (I was able to watch it to the very end for the first time!)
BUT! The dark ritual is still buggy, right? For Alistair & Morrigan ritual it still says "the hero" and shows a pic of pregnant Morri and... nobody. Is it like that for all of you?
Speaking of the ISS, is there anyway to watch the Dragon Age II portion independently from the DAO portion?

Recreated my world state this morning and I just checked it for the first time in almost 9 hours: choices are sticking. Hopefully that means they resolved the reverting choices issue.
