I'm new to this beta-testing thing, so here's a mighty stupid question: can I actually write in this forum if I have an issue with a particular choice in the tapestry?

To be specific: "Fools' gold" quest's outcome in DA2 seems to depend by some reason on whether Nathaniel is alive or not. I can't save the character I want without setting Nate dead.

Also there is a choice for Keran's fate in quest "Enemies among us" (whether he was let go, killed or given to the templars under Kallen's supervision) set in Act 3 area, while it occurs in Act 1. As for Act 1 area choices, there is a "Keran reinstated/Keran kicked out of the templars" choice, without any description, so it's impossible to determine what it means (and seriously, since when he so important, having more choices than most irrelevant NPC's are given?).

Also there was a "error 500" at the beginning of my exploration, but I'm not sure whether it could affect the correlation of choices.

Fool's Gold is a quest you only get if Nathaniel is dead. You won't get the quest if he's alive. The two are mutually exclusive.

Re: Keran - The Keep is more than just stuff going into DAI, it's a record of your decisions in the games. But, that being said, if you don't think something should be in the Keep for whatever reason, log it via the beta feedback button. But as noted in the post after mine, it is relevant to what happens in the game.

Fool's Gold- That is correct Nathaniel's status determines whether which Deep road mission is available. That is not a bug. So to save one of Yevhen's son, Nathaniel need to be dead.

Keran reinstated- means he keeps his status as a templar in the templar order from Act1 to Act 3

Keran kicked out of the templars means that Keran is no longer apart of the templar order, seems does nothing from Act 1 to Act 3 until the coup he join to overthrow Meredith. For why he has many tiles, who knows might show up in DA:I or future dlc and titles.

error 500- could report it in submit feedback. If it stops you from doing anything in the Keep, should refresh the page and clear your history.

As to Keran, I am more confused by the fact that the description (for the choice in Act 3) suggests the events that took place in Act 1.

This is going to sound really stupid I know, but how do I actually use the beta feedback tool thing to submit a bug? I click it then feedback, then click a part that I think is what I'm supposed to click on then a box pops up with various icons like "liked hated loved neutral" ect. where do I actually submit a bug? Or more if that is how I start to submit a bug what then? There is no actual "submit bug" option on the drop down only "feedback", "tapestry tutorial" and "visit forum". Is my laptop/chrome glitching or am I just not seeing/doing something?

Just click one of those faces (how does this bug make you feel :( :) etc) then another option will come up to say what type of feedback you want to submit, one of the options is Bug.

There will be a submit button after you pick how it made you feel.  You gotta do that first.

While the site isn't infallible, I find it's usually right on track when it comes to decisions that could/couldn't have been made in the previous games.  It's actually probably one of the best resources when it comes to something like that, I find, precisely because it allows so many people to add to the articles.  The series is rather vast, and there are so many possible choices one can make; no one person is going to know all of them.  I'm sure there are even permutations that aren't represented on the wiki - but I have a feeling the site is actually the most complete and concise collection of information that we have at the moment.   :)

As for the bit about David Gaider - I was under the impression that the Warden's appearance was still neither confirmed nor denied.  I know that article came out, and that someone said that the information wasn't correct - however, when it comes to the Warden being in the game, I don't recall them ever flat out saying "no", but more so dodging the question.

Wiki is pretty much best source information about da universe but as i said it may be wrong because everyone can edit information and as i said few times it gave me wrong information so i prefer to make sure about something. Now DG confirmed that grey warden won't be in the game and as i said even when DG did that wiki still was showing the warden will be in the game.Problem was that at least some peoples were conviced that warden was confirmed to be in the game because wiki despite article was pointed by DG as mistranslated.

That's speculation though, the quest articles are accurate. Even the devs themselves said they use the wiki when they dont use their internal one.

As i said not always because wiki gave me few times wrong information so while yes it is best source of information about da i prefer to make sure before i trust something on wiki when i don't recall if info is true.So i prefered to ask to make sure before i will say something in the keep don't match situation in game.

I also wanted to ask does someone know if they will add more stuff in ISS because it lack option when it comes to anvil when we convince Branka to destroy anvil and if we chose this it shows as we side with branka and preserved anvil.

This also affects the ISS where you won't be able to change those locked choices while the ISS is playing.

And besides International Space Station I'm guess ISS is that flash movie thingy? :)

I noticed that as well, it seems they're still adding things, as mentioned in a previous announcement.

Edit: Sorry for the double post

Nature of the Beast - Deygan.  1)  Didn't encounter him.  2)  Returned him to camp.  3)  Killed him.

Possible missing choices:

4)  Looted his equipment (and amulet)

5)  Walked away and left him there.

if (4) then (6) returned item.

if (2) and maybe (6) then (7) accepted gift.

Or maybe I'm just overthinking this.

The import is glitched. The only way to have him survive and DA 2 recognize him as alive is to have him in your party in the end of DA:O A. If you left him in Vigil's Keep, even if he survived, the import will register him as dead.

If I recall correctly, the game incorrectly flagged Nathaniel as dead if you didn't have him in your party at the end of Awakenings, so it's possible that while it says Nathaniel is alive, in the files it's flagged otherwise. If you managed to get both the Fool's Gold quest, and Nathaniel's quest (forget the name) in the same playthrough, I'd say you've somehow managed to break the game. ;)

The (submit) Beta Feedback isn't working.  Is there any other alternative?

Thanks for explaining what the actual bug is. I'm fine with this. While I liked Nathaniel's change during Awakening, his mission in DA2 doesn't sound interesting. Yehven's mission is great because of how it mirror's your expedition.

There's a few reasons to do Nathanial's quest. 1. It's the only way to get Varric's Act3 armor upgrade. 2. If your brother/sister are a Warden, you can see them again. 3. There's a tiny interaction if you bring Anders with you to both accept the quest and on the quest itself.

It's Thursday at 12 am in Edmonton. So, there's still days left yet in the week.

What does that do though? Isn't the game finished so all the stuff that isn't in the keep isn't in the game?

The keep is a record of what did and did NOT happen in Thedas during the events of the Fifth Blight (and it's aftermath) and of Kirkwall.

Just because something isn't referenced in Inquisition does NOT mean that the fourth game in the series will also not reference it (or any further game in the series). Also, there is the possibility of DLC down the line, as well.

Yeah but I don't see it happening during the weekend so I think it will either be today or Friday
