I have a question that I hope someone can answer.

I used a mod to make a dalish elf mage possible, and I can, now that syncing is back up, select it as a hero.

What would happen to my worldstate if I did?

Do  you think it would break the keep/inquisition?

I have a quick question (yet another lol). I started a new DA O game, with a noble/female/warrior. I must admit after playing the game unmodded 4 times, I wanted to try a modded game. So..I modded it. :P Thing is, if I want to romance Morrigan (used the mod) is there anyway to put this in the tapestry so it actually works out? It's not letting me put Morrigan in as a romance, it's forcing a change to male noble instead. I can understand that it's not the way the game was set up and if I can't make a world this way, it's no biggie. I was just wondering is all.

(ps- I've never had a character that did not do the ritual with Morrigan. So my wardens are alive, but my question is, if your warden dies, can you still play the DLC for Morrigan? Will it make sense?)

No the tapestry won't allow it.The tapestry only accepts  valid world state that were intended to happen in DA:O.  If your warden dies, you can still play the Witch Hunt DLC, but it won't be the Warden from DA:O but the Orlesian Warden.

100% sure?

The devs just made one and uploaded it to the Keep during the Twitch stream :)

Honestly I wouldn't risk it and it depends if the Keep reads origin story more so than class. If it's origin then they'll just think your character was a dalish rogue I believe. If class well...that's the problem. Did it show up as a dalish mage?

That contradicts the lore, Morrigan was never bisexual. Also the Keep doesn't support modded games.

i´m guessing the equal love mod, the answer is no, since it´s not part of the original game (morrigan only dates guys), and for DLC´s you usually play with an orlesian warden sent from weisshaupt as the new Warden Commander. (that you create anew)

You won't be able to flag a Dalish mage setup correctly, as it doesn't exist in the game or in the Keep. If I remember correctly that mod just changed flags around but if you chose invalid origins for the mage class, people would still make comments about the Circle to you. What the Keep is doing is probably just reading your Warden as a regular elven mage, and assuming you had the Circle origin.

Hiya folks! I was wondering, is there a standalone Character Creator for Dragon Age 2 somewhere out there that I can download? I remember Dragon Age Origins had one out before the full game released, I'd like to use this method of making and importing a character into Dragon Age Keep if I can. I use to own Dragon Age 2 for 360, but I sold it along with some other games about a year or two ago, and I no longer have the save file. If I can save money by using a character creator, I'd prefer that.

If not, I'll just see about buying it again.

I don't think there is one. You don't need to buy it since they have said you can customize Hawke in DA:I(not sure if you can change Hakwe's name in DA:I).

I have this problem. Personally, I'm not bothered by it since there is nothing special for having them unlocked.

I'm sure they will fix it, I noticed the trouble-shoot button for locked DLC. So I used those.

As stated by Renata

I'm guessing because of this, you're having problems. Have you contacted the devs yet?

I have tweeted them and put in a bug report through the tool in keep and haven't heard anything from them.

Try PMing one of them and contacting them directly at onlinecommunity@bioware.com for a more direct response.

I don't know if this is an issue, but...my keep seems to be under the impression I have Dragon Age:Origins on PC...which I don't, I only have it on PS3 and no it isn't indicating that I have it on XBOX at all. Is this normal or has something gone wrong? I might have clicked something.

Okay forget all that, it seems I may have accidentally added the game content for the PC version, even though I don't have the PC version. Is there a way to undo this, or will there be a way to undo this in future? If not how do I contact staff about it?

So, does anyone know how syncing with the PC version of ORigins work?  I just made a bunch of wardens thanks to the game being free a while back and I want to import them

You do not import saves, at least not in the way most people wish.  First, go into options --- > Account and make sure uploading is enabled. Second, make sure you do not have the developer console enabled (Bioware has stated this will block uploading, so turn it off if you ever turned it on) Then, log into each character and unequip something, like your armor, quick save the game, put your armor back on, and quick save the game again.

You are done, but it will take a few hours for the Keep to process the data.  When it does, you will have your character's name, class, and portrait.  That's it.  Your game decisions do not and cannot be uploaded.  The reason for this is due to extensive bugs in the save files, the Keep allowing us to customize our world state is better, because we can make the proper decisions, for example if you didn't take Nathaniel with you to fight Mother, he dies.  No matter what.  Even if Vigil's Keep is saved, he still ends up flagged as dead in the save file (despite what the ending slides say), in fact everyone you leave behind gets flagged as dead, it's just Nathaniel is the only one that actually matters.  Anders and Justice return no matter what and the others don't return no matter what..  Bioware admitted it was a bug, but never fixed it.  I call it "the babysitter bug" :Þ  But, like I said you will get your portraits to recognize your characters, like my new avatar here on the forums is Olivia Cousland, my Templar friendly Queen of Ferelden, except in game she's  standing at the Cousland Estate with her father, Duncan, and Arl Howe, because I created her solely to get her name and portrait in the Keep :Þ

They have not implemented the "Orlesian Warden" in The Keep yet though... so it's still kinda that "undead Warden" thing if you imported your Warden into the DLC.  This is evidenced by the fact that (and I just checked) if your Warden died you can still go with her, but you should not be able to, since only a Warden who romanced her is able to go with her.  I'm hoping they add the Orlesian Warden before the DAI launch.  But yeah, to the original question, the Tapestry isn't going to let a female romance Morrigan, just as it won't let Alistair romance a male.

They revealed on the Twitch stream today that the orlesian warden won't make it into the Keep by the time DAI launches but if the Warden is dead it is assumed the OW did the events of the DLC.

Ah cool, I was the one (or at least one, if others did too) who asked that! I just missed the live stream.

So yeah, guess that means that the Orlesian Warden can go through the Eluvian with this woman he just met because she is in love with him... and he loves her too.  Isn't love at first sight grand? (Actually it is, my parents were love at first sight, and married 27 years until death did them part)

Have they said they are going to import the Orlesian Warden? I don't see how that Warden matters him or herself, just the other events of Awakening. The important Warden is dead.

Yes, they said today that no, but it's assumed if your Warden is dead, the OW did the DLC.  As I said above though, that creates a story conflict with Witch Hunt, as only a Warden who romanced Morrigan should be able to go with her.  So, it shouldn't let you be dead and still go with Morrigan.
