BUT
Everytime I attempt to log into the keep I encounter an error screen message, blocking access. I can get around it by retyping the www.dragonagekeep.com address, but it's just weird. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

From what i've seen that's the only known solution at the moment.
I was really happy when I saw that we can choose our wardens, but I've got a problem. Keep doesn't show one of my wardens - the one I want to use. That was my favourite save.

Give us more details, what do you play on PC, 360, PS3? Any mods if PC?
Did you try all the suggestions on the first post of the sync thread yet?
Is this your most recent Warden or an older one from years ago?

It seems that clearing the cache does not work like someone else suggested earlier.

I'm including pictures of exactly what I'm seeing when I log on, both before I can enter the keep and immediately after I enter the keep. This is NOT fixed by clearing the cahce as someone else before suggested, nor can I get around this problem on multiple browsers, though I primarily use Firefox.

That second picture you need to delete since we're not suppose to post or take any images of the Keep until NDA is lifted. Keepers on here have heard and seen it all so a description is usually enough.
This problem started after the devs posted that "The Keep is experiencing problems" notice at the top of this forum so I get the feeling it's something on their end that's causing this.

Is anyone else having difficultly syncing their custom Hawkes?
I have had this problem for awhile now, every time I debug I get an error message when trying to select my custom Hawke. Line 0 something or other, on the tapestry I can't do anything on the DA2 side of the default world state.
However, I am able to select her on the tapestry in both my custom world states. Has anyone else encountered this? I have sent several bug reports already letting the team know.
I didn't realise syncing was back until today, so I've done it all now I think but something seems to have gone wrong.
I've got most of the proper story expansion DLC for Origins but for some reason the game doesn't recognise them. There is a button you can click to troubleshoot why it hasn't unlocked so I'm hoping that'll fix itself unless someone knows another way?
The second thing though is that a lot of my DA:O Achievements haven't popped on the Career tab. All of the DA2 ones have, but not DA:O. I maxed out the normal game, could never get Grim Reaper and didn't buy Witch Hunt or Leliana's Song, but it's only showing about three quarters of the DA:O standard achievements unlocked.

These are all known issues and they're working on it.
the latest update says we should no longer be experiencing problems but it keeps telling me something went wrong and wont reload. where do i go to tell them about this? is there anything i can do?

*sigh* Story decisions are not imported. If you want to build a world state around them you have to select them in the Tapestry and then build the world state from there.

1. Importing decisions into DAI was the point. Extracting them from DAO and DA2 was not.
2. You can select them in the tapestry and then build their world state. If you don't see the 'Choose This Hero' button then try scrolling down. If you can't find a specific race/class combination then try using the filters at the top of the page.

It might help to go full screen. Sometimes the "Approve this Hero" text is lost below the page. Click that and it will choose that Warden (or Hawke) for that particular tapestry.

*Edit* Another sync attempt and a page refresh seems to have fixed the problem...

No, I see only a "Back" button.
What browser are you using, some script blockers can prevent the choose your hero button to appear. Try adjusting the resolution or try another browser.

I've seen some people get in correct gender people despite their character being someone else. (someone had a human male female show up as a male Dwarf). This is best reported since there isn't a known solution except try syncing again. Same for the hawkes.
I tried on both Chrome and Firefox. No approve buttons.
Just a suggestion:
I noticed that stalwart Beta Keeper Senjougahara Hitagi has used his/her Signature space to post a message, reminding all Keepers that syncing will NOT import saves from DA:O or DA2 and that these need to be replicated in the Tapestry. I thought this was a great idea, especially since - once the open Beta goes live - this issue is likely to crop up time and time again. I've therefore changed my signature to do the same. (Different words, but same idea!)
I'd like to suggest that maybe everyone here should consider doing something similar. The more often that message gets repeated in these forums, the less often we are to see this same question appearing. (Well, maybe!) It's not a huge issue now but, as I say, once the open Beta goes live in a few days time, we might all be grateful for this kind of "automatic" reminder.
Up to you all individually, obviously (hey, Bioware is all about choice!), but give it some thought.
