Just a suggestion:

I noticed that stalwart Beta Keeper Senjougahara Hitagi has used his/her Signature space to post a message, reminding all Keepers that syncing will NOT import saves from DA:O or DA2 and that these need to be replicated in the Tapestry. I thought this was a great idea, especially since - once the open Beta goes live - this issue is likely to crop up time and time again. I've therefore changed my signature to do the same. (Different words, but same idea!)

I'd like to suggest that maybe everyone here should consider doing something similar. The more often that message gets repeated in these forums, the less often we are to see this same question appearing. (Well, maybe!) It's not a huge issue now but, as I say, once the open Beta goes live in a few days time, we might all be grateful for this kind of "automatic" reminder.

Up to you all individually, obviously (hey, Bioware is all about choice!), but give it some thought. :)

Only problem is advertising Keep information too soon. I was planing on changing by sig in the 29th with some tips to help new Keepers.

Please do not anger Senjougahara-SAMA.  I have an aversion to staples;)

No, I see only a "Back" button.

The back button only appears when you hit the eye icon to view the details. Now then there are two possible ways you can get to that screen.

A. Selecting a character while in the tapestry and hitting the eye button, in which case hit back and 'Choose This Hero' or 'Approve this Hero' should be below the character

B. Selecting a character while in the heroes tab and hitting the eye button, in which case go to the Tapestry because you cannot select a hero in this section

If you have a bunch of posts elsewhere on the forums then I guess it's not that really a good idea. Anyway, although I put it there, I don't actually believe that it's going to help at all. People don't pay attention to simple text in the signatures.

Would you prefer a pair of scissors instead?

I see nothing in Senjougahara Hitagi's signature that I haven't effectively said 100 times in the primary Keep thread. Personally I decided to put a couple of things I have said way too frequently in my sig in the vain hope that it will prevent at least one post. x_x

Just as caution sake, since i do post else where. :) I'm going to use big large red letters that better get their attention and say something like:

"THE WARDEN SUCKS! Now that I have your attention...."

I'm not sure if this is correct thread, but I'll ask anyways. Sorry for any inconvenience. :)

Anyways, I'm just wondering here two questions:

1) Is it possible to sync both Warden and Warden-Commander separatedly? In my playthrough, they were different persons. At the moment, I kinda get the feeling from the keep that they are supposedly same person.

2) Or does this even matter?

How do you know it hasn't?  ;-)

You don't have a save file from before you completed the DLC?

Well, I do, but it's from back in Chapter Two. LOL It's okay, I found some more items I had missed. Fingers crossed!

EDIT: Rassum frassum. Must be the items I equipped on Carver. Guess I have to do Chapter Three all over, and skip the DLCs this time.

For some they are getting the Warden commander synced but they're assumed to have survived the blight. Some people aren't getting the Orlesian Warden separately and so far there is no way to say in the Keep who specially the OW was. (Race and class)

It's assumed that if the Warden died the OW did the events of the DLC but their ID is unknown or possibly assumed to be the same race and class.

I tried on both Chrome and Firefox. No approve buttons.

Are you viewing the "Heroes" page, or the Heroes section in the Tapestry?

You can only approve heroes from in the tapestry - the heroes page does not allow you to assign heroes to your world state at present.

Huh?

1. Wasn't that the entire POINT of Dragon Age Keep?

2. I'm not allowed to PICK MY HERO?!?!?! Because I'm stuck with the same race/class regardless.

1) No, the point of the keep is to rebuild the world state as you see fit so you can have different Inquisition playthroughs without having to replay Dragon Age Origins and DA2 first.

If anyone is having trouble selecting heroes try minimizing the screen. The approve hero button can sometimes be too big.

This. To add to this, the Keep was created to avoid the bugs that occurred when transferring between Origins and DAII. Like the Nathaniel living or dying issue. The Warden coming back to life in Awakening after sacrificing himself/herself killing the archdemon, etc.

Is anyone else having problem with the Keep locking up in Firefox?

Edit: To be specific, I am attempting to generate 3 random world states with the YOLO button. However, when I attempt to move from world state to the next, the Keep locks Firefox up and becomes unresponsive.

I've just been running through the video, and two things. Someone mentioned earlier that it would be really nice to have 'start points' for the video. I would even appreciate just have a start point at DA2, as opposed to having to watch both. But also, I am fairly certain that when I have the Tapestry in an background tab, the video runs much much much slower -- in the sense that there are huge gaps between Varric's narration. Anyways, the reason I found these was because I got an unidentified error partway through the playback of the DA2 video playback.

EDIT: should probably note that this is in firefox

Now I can't even do ANYTHING related to my world state. As soon as I click on a section of the Tapestry, the Keep crashes Firefox.

Firefox is known to be problematic. Try Chrome instead.

Log any errors you encounter via the feedback button (disable adblock if you can't see it). Also, the Keep itself is known to have issues with Firefox. Try running it in Chrome.

While I appreciate the suggestion, a customer attempting to use the Keep to generate a world state for Inquisition will not. Changing browser's just to utilize the Keep effectively is an inconvenience.

I'm glad that Firefox has been known to be problematic though. I was worried I might be the only one.

The Keep is still in beta and will be for a few weeks yet (22 days until US release), so it's likely that in an update between now and then that some issues with Firefox will be resolved.

The only issue I've had that could be attributed to the browser is that sometimes the video won't load. That's an issue with flash player though.

The Keep doesn't use Flash at all.  HTML5 only!

(And I've been using the Keep with FF with no problems whatsoever.)

I've been trying to make some world states and I'm now constantly getting Timeout errors.  No decisions save.  Nothing works except creating new World States that I cannot set choices for.

Using Chrome.
