You can fix this by changing the part of the URL that reads "fuex" to read "worldvault". Once that is done, unlock the world and you should be ok for the next time (or make a new, unlocked world, and select it before you run the sync tool)

Does anyone know why I don't have the ability to allow my warden to live as well as Alistair? If I make Alistair the king, but my warden is set to live, they make me change it and I know for a fact you can do that in the game. For some reason my custom characters are not being imported but I didn't think much of it besides the fact that I can't change the name and appearance but I can't create the world I actually want because of this.
Side note, I can't seem to leave feedback, I click the button but nothing happens, any idea as why? Thanks in advance guys!
You should set Morrigan's old god baby tile first, since it tends to prompt a lot of unnecessary changes. Once that one is set and locked you should be able to set Alistair king and Warden alive without problems.
Is this a reference to Yehven&Nathaniel's tiles being linked? Because if so, it's because Fool's Gold only happens if Nathaniel is 'flagged' as dead. (Meaning, he wasn't in the final party at the end of Awakening).
No, I know those are connected. Let me give and example. I'm using a female Tabris. I go to change the tile of what happens to Matthias/Amalia/Kitty and it prompts me to change my decision on whether or not I had a child with Mardy (which only a male dwarf noble can to), and tells me to change it to the same decision. And no it isn't only happening with those tiles. ![]()
Which is particular? I used to have a few but they were fixed as far as I know.
Pretty much any of the tiles seem to be doing this to me. For one of my World States just loading it is making me re-do my choices.

Ahh thanks, I clicked the Human baby instead of the God baby by mistake which conflicted with that.

Don't worry, I did that too when I first started on the Keep. Kept confusing the crap out of myself.
Welcome to the forums, by the way. ![]()
I am going to assume that you played DAO on a console, in which case it is a known issue, and I believe they are working on a fix.
good to know thanks but with LESS then two weeks to go, I really hope Keep is fully functional by the 17th otherwise this is going to be really awkward since there is no import function other then The Keep for Inquisition.

Honestly, every part of the Keep that's necessary for importing to DAI is already working. None of the stuff currently not-syncing will impact DAI at all.
Honestly, I've never visited BSN before this exercise. Never had any need to. I do play the games with the "upload" box checked, but I've never had to mess around online before.
To be clear, I'm not saying it's BW's fault and I fully accept it may be difficult to diagnose, but I suspect this is how the majority of players play, in which case it's surely going to be a nightmare post-launch?
It just means folk without a sync state available will start with a default and specify their choices.
Even those with a sync state will need to specify their choices so not really a nightmare.

You misunderstand me.
I mean it will be a nightmare because everyone who hasn't been playing with the Keep and/or hanging around these forums in the run-up to launch will be bombarding Bioware, Twitter, FB and other gaming site forums with complaints about how they can't get their Heroes into the Keep and how DA:I is therefore a broken and/or incomplete game.
It's not true, of course, but you know what the interwebs is like! ![]()
Is there any way on my end to resolve the fact that my DAO hero's portrait isn't included in the Sync? The character has no custom content.
The Keep doesn't import content attached to your characters even when they are synced. All it will bring forward is the name and a teeny, tiny portrait.
There are various workarounds you can try if syncing isn't working for you (see the various FAQs and other posts here in the forums), but the only solution that worked for me (and possibly the easiest anyway!) is to download the standalone DA:O Character Creator, and recreate your Hero in that. Just hit the upload button when you've finished and it should turn up in the Keep about 30 minutes to an hour later.
Is anyone else getting an error message when trying to use the ISS I am using the latest version of Firefox?
Is anyone else getting an error message when trying to use the ISS I am using the latest version of Firefox?
Yes the same for me with the ISS. It always tells me there was a problem and to try again later....
Don't forget to log it in the Keep feedback/bug reports so that our devs can get the list of what people are having problems with. ![]()
Slightly OT, but not really
;A little advice for you new Keepers... and maybe a few older ones (like me!
):
If you think it's been said because there have been 1000+ posts ahead of you and you haven't been able to read them all... say it anyway. It might not have been.
If you think it may not seem all that important... say it anyway. It might just be and others have felt the same way.
If you think your voice isn't important... it is. It's why we're all here, new and old.
We've got a unique opportunity to make this thing as polished as possible. Let's do this! ![]()
Since the keep went open beta i need to resync my DAO/DA2 data, plus watch the varric story, before i can get to the tapestry. Before, the keep would remind me so i would not need to constantly do these things each time i enter. Is anyone else having these issues?

It happens every time you open the Keep? have you tried another web browser? I recall someone having the similar problem a week ago, they had to contact the devs directly.

Yes, I'm finding that too. You can skip the Varric narration, of course, by clicking on the "x" in the top right-hand corner as soon as it starts, but you still have to go through the whole syncing rigmarole in order to reach that point.
is anyone else having issues login to keep from ps4? i can do from a pc but worried when get game on ps4 it wont let me sign in.
when try sign on ps4 web broswer says my email is invaild but pc im fine. Im using a yahoo email if that matters.
I hope the ISS's issues with Firefox get fixed granted I don't need it I have played and beat both DAO & DA2 so many times so it is more a annoyance than anything else.
(Sorry if already asked and answered elsewhere.)
Does someone know how to get my DAO achievements to sync? My Wardens are all there. My Hawkes and DA2 achievements are all there. But it only finds 1 DAO achievement for me. Every time.
Anyone have a similar issue?
Thanks.
I have both Dragon Age: Origins and DA:O - Ultimate Edition (EDIT: on ps3), but the Keep only syncs Origins.
The Warden I want for Inquisition is on the Ultimate Edition, but since the Keep won't sync with it, he doesn't appear in the Tapestry.
My Wardens from Orgins and my Hawkes are all there.
Does someone have the same problem or a solution?
Thanks

It's pretty hit and miss. I deleted all my mods, disabled console and it worked. I can't play the game without mods and stuff, so I advise making a backup, syncing your characters then copying them back in.
looks like they fixed the bug in the ISS that states the warden took part in the dark ritual with Morrigan even if the warden was female lol, so very happy about that.

I wouldn't called that what they did fixing. They just cut it out like with the art of mages. There was a bug that the ISS always shown elf mage, even if it was human. And what they did? Insted of fix the problem, they put a circle symbol. And the same is here with the dark ritual - instead of fixing it, I mean that it should recognize who did the ritual (Loghain, Alistair or the Warden), they put sth like nobody died, because of dark ritual. It's not fixing, its whitewashing ![]()
