Ok, maybe you guys can help me with a plot flag/logic issue here.  I'm not sure if my DAO game just bugged or what.

I have Wynne not recruited and also dead.  I had agreed on my Rogue Warden with Cullen that we could not risk the mages, and Wynne turned on me there and I had to kill her.

However, I was able to save Irving from death once I confronted Ulfric.  So I was able to gain Mage help, NOT Templar, for the final battle.  But the flags will not let me change my support.

In the Keep, if Wynne is dead, than I cannot have Irving alive nor can I have sided with the Circle and also agreed with Cullen.

This is only a recent thing to.  I was able to have Wynne dead because of agreeing with Cullen and yet saving Irving and siding with Mages before the Keep went Open Beta.

Sooooo, what gives?  Did Origins bug on me and my combo is not possible?  Or has the logic been mussed with and we just have to wait for a fix?

(As a side note, I've submitted a feedback/bug report for this already, this is just me checking with others on whether this is a possible thing or I got a bug in Origins.)

Not sure  but in the keep, the solver has wynne's fate connected the fate of the circle.

If Wynne died in the Circle, then you support the Templars. Though I thought that Irving is needed to be alive to be able to side with mages, not wynne.

Should check Dragon age wiki if you are able to do that in Origins.

You could submit feedback on it to see if it was possible.

Not entirely accurate...

Right now, in the Keep, Wynne's fate(in regards to dying in the Circle) is tied to Cullen's Request.  And so is Irving.  If you agree to Cullen's request, Irving will always die.  If you deny Cullen's request, Irving will always live.   And there is no way to have Wynne die during Broken Circle without agreeing to Cullen's Request(which, in the game, you could do upon meeting her at the Circle). There is no word as to whether they changed this in the Keep on purpose or if it's a bug.

I recommend, silentstephi, that you submit feedback on the tiles that concern you.  Hopefully we'll get word on the issue by next Friday.

Right, and that's the problem.  In all of my "Templar" playthoughs I just simply didn't use the Litany of Adralla and so Irviing died.  But, Wynne didn't turn on me because I still had told Cullen that I would not make a decision until I saw what was up there.

And yeah, I've submitted feedback on this a few times, it really annoys me because while I understand you cannot agree with Cullen and let Wynne live, there is nothing in game keeping me from being like 'YEah, Cullen... I'll get rid of those pesky mages" killing Wynne, then proceeding to use the Litany of Adralla and side the the mages despite what I told Cullen.

So, Wynne's fate should really be tied to agreeing with Cullen's request only so far as you must kill her if you do, but you should also be able to kill her if you do not.  And Irving's fate should NOT be tied to Cullen or to Wynne.  (being able to remove Wynne from the party so that you can agree with Cullen yet still keep her was a bug)

This is a convoluted one, but has anyone else tried marrying Alistair to Anora with a surviving Loghain and Goldanna not encountered? Because I haven't had the auto-solver step in, but I seem to recall that if you spare Loghain, Alistair only becomes king if he's hardened; the only way for that to happen is in the conversation after meeting Goldanna, so if Goldanna is set as "not encountered" then surely Alistair can't have been hardened (and therefore can't become king while Loghain lives).

Also, any word on when we can use the Keep in other languages?

I think the Keep just doesn't keep track of whether you hardened Alistair or not. Even the 'tracked down Goldanna' tile doesn't necessarily refer to 'did you harden Alistair or not', since you can meet Goldanna and leave him unhardened.

True, but you can't not meet her and have him hardened. Though I guess it makes sense if they've just decided to disregard hardening altogether.

Yes, they have talked about that on Twitch Q&A's a few times, the idea of 'hardening' is not reflected in the Keep, it's just what's valid and what isn't.  As for marrying Alistair and Anora together and keeping Loghain, yes you can do that.  It really makes Alitstair mad, but you are able to with the right dialogues to convince him to marry Anora and let Loghain take his place.  Heck, I even did that and remained his mistress (in game and in the Keep)

Yes I think they decided to just forget about including it in the Keep, which isn't a bad idea imo. Hardening was a pretty obscure mechanic in DAO, so I'm not sad to see it go.

Wait, you can let Loghain live and still remain Alistair's mistress ? My Warden romanced him, but then married him off to Anora and spared Loghain and when she went to talk to Alistair "about us" he just straight up said 'there isn't any us" (paraphrasing here). I didn't see any dialogue options that led to them staying together.

It's tough to pull off, an I forget how to do it, but yes it's possible.  You probably didn't harden him, I know for sure that is mandatory.  ANd yeah, hardening was purely a game mechanic, so basically I can say that yes I hardened Alistair AND Leliana because Rose Amell romanced Leliana, defiled the ashes, and Leliana stayed with her. Plus, she also was Alistair's mistress despite recruiting Loghain.  It's all very Orlesian haha (okay maybe not but I just wanted to say that, especially since Loghain would throw a fit haha)

I don't disagree. Hardening is a fairly trivial thing to hinge major plot points on, especially since Inquisition is set 10 years after Origins. It was just an irregularity I came across mucking about with the Keep.

I spared Loghain and had Alistair marry Anora, I'm 100% sure he was hardened. Are you sure you didn't have any mods installed for that playthrough ? You can't be in two romances at once, so you shouldn't be able to romance Leliana and remain Alistair's mistress, and I tried all the dialogue options after sparing Loghain at the Landsmeet and they all led to Alistair breaking things off with my Warden.

^I feel like I've heard of people doing that.  I'm not sure if it's a result of using the Leliana exploit to romance Alistair and her at the same time (which you wouldn't be able to reproduce in the Keep) or a result of romancing a hardened Leliana, then suggesting to a hardened Alistair after the Landsmeet (or whenever the choice would normally pop up) that you could be his mistress.

Bear in mind, I've never gotten to the Landsmeet with any of my female characters, so I have not attempted this myself.  Nor have I looked it up on the wiki.  This is just how I figure the encounter would have to go in order to work.  If it's not possible to do it that way, then the only way to reproduce it in Origins would be through the Leliana glitch.

I hope someone can help me. I went to the Keep and had it sync my data but the custom heroes that showed up for my Warden were characters I deleted from my game a long time ago. The problem is that my current characters that I am playing with are not showing up at all. I also can't access any of my player profiles from Dragon Age Origins on BSN. I did the survey about a week ago and haven't heard anything back and I did the feedback on the Keep. Please someone help. Thanks.

Have you already tried what's in the two links below ?

Syncing

This is the big one. Wardens seem to be especially troublesome. If you're having trouble syncing your Wardens/Hawkes you should refer to these posts here and here

BSN is essentally closed at the moment because - I think - the Keep is meant to replace it for this purpose.

However, there is a very convoluted workaround which has enabled some people to find their BSN character details. It doesn't work for everyone but you can find some guidance here:

http://forum.bioware...after-24-hours/

The short answer, though, is that many, many people are still having trouble with syncing their characters and/or achievements, and there doesn't seem to be a single cause for it. It's affecting people who use completely different platforms and/or browsers.

For some, the solution is as simple as opening up your last saved game, removing armour, resaving, re-equipping the armour and saving again. For others this makes no difference. I've resorted to recreating my characters in the standalone DA:O Character Creator available from File Planet. That has an Upload button to hit once the character has been created and, so far, it's the only thing that's worked for me.

If you can't get the "resaving trick" to work, it might be worth trying that.

Thanks for the quick reply. I went to the second link and was able to get to the diagnostic page and my warden is showing up. I guess I'll wait 24 hours to see if he appears in the Keep. Thanks a lot for your help.

I think it doesnt help that everyone is now trying to get the keep to pull their data in. There was a large queue at the end of closed beta, now with open it's going to be even bigger

Yeah, I think they hate me. I mean, they can't even be bothered to tell me this themselves? I'm hurt.

I know. And the open Beta had just launched too.

I don't fool myself that I'm anywhere near the top of the priority list right now!   :)
