1) I said in Mass Effect 2, so quoting Mass Effect 3 at me is a different issue.
2) That's all epilogue and probably won't matter in any future Mass Effect game, especially with how the ending was slapped together..
3) The difference between Wrex and Wreave was discussed, but in what way was it actually reflected, except maybe a different epilogue slide?
1. Even in Mass Effect 2, you could tell the difference between Wrex and Wreav, and Wreav fully explained who he was in relation to Wrex.
2. The Extended Cut DLC shouldn't have been needed, but it was. So, unless you are one of the players who refused to ever touch the game again, a lot more happens with them story wise, and will matter in future ME games very much I think.
3. If you are still talking ME2 only, then it wasn't. But, we cant throw ME3 out any more than a discussion about what matters in DA2 will be able to throw out DAI. The difference between siding with the Mages and siding with the Templars is mostly just an epilogue slide at this point. Hawke sided with the Templars. Hawke sided with the mages. Nothing is really different as of the ending of DA2 between those two situations. Hawke still disappeared, Leliana and Cassandra are still trying to locate the Warden and Hawke. It won't be until DAI that we see the results reflected. It's the same way with Wrex and Wreav. Until ME4 comes out and we are looking at our first Krogan Councilor in Wrex (I totally can see Wrex on the Council... under him the Krogan would be a force to rival the Turians, yet he would make them fight for the good of the galaxy, and that would greatly impress the council), or fighting off the 2nd Krogan Rebellions under the Krogan Warlord Wreav (under him the Krogan also will be a force to rival the Turians, but alas he's dangerously unstable and insane, moreso even that most Krogans IMO, so with him as leader... we're all dead.), we aren't going to see those reflected no. Will all of that be completely ignored in ME4? That depends. Until we see, the only question that can be answered is are you a "glass half full" or a "glass half empty" type of person? I am glass half full, and hope that Bioware learned from their mistakes with ME3, but also with their mistakes in DAO/DAA and their mistakes in DA2, and DAI, ME4, all future games will be better. If however I was a glass half empty person, I'd just jump on the "Biofail" bandwagon and wouldn't have preordered DAI or buy it ever. But again, I'm a glass half full person.
The main problem with the epilogue slides in DAO/DAA is simple, there were just too many variables. Put simply, Bioware stretched themselves too thin. Even if all that data ended up in the save files. Even if there were no bugged save files. There still were way too many variables, DA2 is what we would be anticipating today if they'd actually taken the time to stick with ALL the epilogue slides from DAO/DAA.
