Have you used the Keep yet on PC?

Yes. I have two world states that I've created on my pc.

To export your world state, click on the globe in the Keep to bring up the right hand menu. Click on the world state you want to export and there should be a large red "Export to DA:I" button. Click and it's ready to be imported into the game.

Just did. Under game slot  it has DA Inquisition and under that has copy of my world state

Alright, now you just have to wait till you have the game in your hands. Everything is ready to go

I just enter my email address to gather what information the game needs and start playing? I'm guessing the game will acknowledge that it has downloaded my world state?

Since you said you used the same email for your PSN and Origin ID your accounts should already be linked. You can check by going on the 'your registered game content' page here. It displays your Origin account associations.

You'll need to have internet obviously, but you'll just enter your e-mail (it will ask you to log into origin) and it will ask you to confirm whether the world state currently loaded it correct. It should have the name of your world state,

You're welcome, I can understand if it's confusing since it isn't as simple as "press import...done" like the old system was.

I'm just glad we've been given the chance to grapple with all this before launch!

I'd have hated to be sitting with the game in my hands on 21st and unable to play it because I still had to work out how to get everything connected!

I just went online with my ps3 a few minutes ago to see if I can access the keep. Before I could do that, it had to download an update. I went to the keep website or at least tried to when the screen said my browser isn't good enough or whatever. I even wasn't able to log in on this forum. The last time I was online with my ps3 was May. At that time I was able to log in on bsn with no problem.

 

Do I need to uninstall the update or I'm I SOL?

 

You are SOL until Sony and Microsoft address the issue.  The PS3 (and Xbox 360) do not support HTML5 (PS4 and XboxOne do), which is what the Keep uses.  The old BSN did not use HTML5.

 

EDIT: But yes, as others have said, the Keep itself doesn't' work on a PS3/360, but the GAME will still be able to access it, you just can't create/edit your world states unless you are on a platform that supports HTML5.

I guess this is a good place to ask, trying to tie up the Keep's Achievement's, it asks for me to share my Tapestry with 5 friends... the problem is, I have never really bothered to get "friends" for this game, as it is mostly a single player game, and I have other ways for obtaining friends...is there like a group or something for people like me that someone can direct me to?

well I don't know much about the facebook community, but people here are nice enough.

Be sure to refresh your keep since my acceptance notification won't show up until then (sometimes the delay can take up to 30 minutes). I also shared one of my world states with you.

There was the multiplayer thread, but not necessarily one for Keep friends.

So I tried syncing my characters in and some of my DAO characters synced perfectly fine, but not all did. And my DA2 characters didn't sync at all. Is this just a common problem or something I'm doing wrong.

Check here to see if your character's were uploaded and you registered your game.

If they're missing then you may not have been logged on while playing DA2. You'll need to load up the game and have the game upload the data.
