I have all tiles. Literally all options are available to me. E.g. my hero is a Dwarf Commoner but I can choose whether or not I encountered Mardy and had relations with her.

You always have all tiles, and all options showing.

If you try to choose one that conflicts with something else you've done however, it should flag up a conflict and refuse to let you make that choice. If it doesn't, then you should report that as a bug.

That's actually pretty incredible! One of the biggest issues I've been having with Dragon Age recently was the fact that Hawke was so unpopular that his story wouldn't be resolved after that obnoxious cliffhanger after II. I had expected DLC back when DAII came out, but this is much better. Especially if he's fully customizable again.

Thank you very much for that info. It's gotten me even more excited to play Inquisition.

I don't think Hawke was as unpopular as the internet might suggest - the caves were repetitive and Kirkwall a little waring but Hawke I like...

This Mike Laidlaw quote is what we are all clinging to:

"IF we were going to have one of your previous characters appear, we would absolutely give you a chance to change his or her look."

I can't seem to add new wardens or Hawkes to my Keep.

You'll have to be more specific.

All the default Wardens and Hawkes are pre-populated and you cannot create new Wardens or Hawkes in the Keep. You choose the defaults or your synced heroes.

When choosing a hero for your worldstate, you have to pick one of them. If you mean that your Wardens and Hawkes from your saved games aren't showing up, then you need to check out one of the threads below for syncing tips.

Hi guys, maybe someone had/has the same problem as I do.

A week ago I decided to sync my data again (just finished da2 and wanted the updated data to show up), and since then I have problems. My heroes and achievements show up, but when I go to view the tapestry all the choices are wrong/random. Cleared cashe/cookies, tried a different browser to sync - nothing is helping. My choices are not showing up. Any ideas? :(

Why would your choices show up?

The Dragon Age Keep does not import save choices?

Finishing DA2 would have no import difference other than the achievements flags.

Just set the tiles in the Keep and you will be good to go.

Does anyone who has played The Last Court know if the Acerbic Dowager is a romance option? I just recruited her as a Counselor (at a steep price in Royals) and was wondering if you needed her in your court before you can advance to the next stage.

No the only lovers are the Bard and the Abbess.

Everyone has all the tiles. That's a feature of the Keep. But if you are able to save options like Morrigan romancing a female Warden by clicking "Approve this Choice" then that's a bug. Your autosolver should be detecting errors like that and suggesting fixes.

You always have all tiles, and all options showing.

If you try to choose one that conflicts with something else you've done however, it should flag up a conflict and refuse to let you make that choice. If it doesn't, then you should report that as a bug.

Then it's a bug, yeah. I can approve any and all choices.

How do you recruit them as Lovers? Do you need them to be on your court?

Bard exchange two favors to recruit him as a lover. Abbess trade two favors to make her your counselor and then when you meet with her later there will be a new option to confess to her (dignity check).

I'm just getting back on the keep after a couple weeks and I'm having major problems. First I noticed the alert message saying the keep does not transfer your previous choices, instead use the ISS to change a few key choices. Well I can't even view the ISS it always says a problem occurred. And 99% of the time I log in and refresh the page I get a script error message. I've cleared cookies and history etc. All that. I already have my world states set, if I export it into inquisition without viewing the ISS and making changes will my world state stay the same in Inquisition?

You don't need the ISS to complete your World State. The only three or four questions there are in the Tapestry anyway.

Even though you don't need it, though, if you're getting the same error message every time, you should probably report it as a bug.

On David Gaider' tumblr he says that there was supposed to be a 3rd DLC in the vein of Legacy and Mark of the Assassin, but it was scrapped and incorporated into an Awakening-style expansion called 'Exalted March'. This was also scrapped, and has now been incorporated into DAI.

Really? Ugh, that lowers my expectation for Inquisition. I hate when devs recycle content like that. Hawke and his/her story were dull and pointless. However, Legacy and Mark of the Assassin were fantastic.

How is it recycled content if we've never seen it? Anyway, no doubt it's undergone massive changes since it was first supposed to be a Hawke-centric piece.

But clearly, you're not a writer or creative type. Recycling old ideas is what we do. I've used fanfic ideas in my original stuff (not characters, mind you, just ideas) and I know I'm not the only one. Some people even profit off that. 50 Shades of Grey started out as a Twilight fanfic. A published author I know revamped a Doctor Who fanfic to be an original story.

Recycling is part of the entertainment industry. If you didn't know that by now, well, you learned something new today. :D

Then it would be reasonable to predict that the 'Exalted March' was fantastic too, but the enthusiasm for DA2 had waned however good the DLCs were, so now the bones of it are in DAI. No loss.

You're half right. I am certainly more the math & science type, but I study story telling and do editing. I can tell you're not very left brained because you bring up an entirely different circumstance. It's recycled because it was planned for one game, then they said screw it and decided to roll it into the next. It depends on when this was decided and done, but we've seen it before in gaming where content is just pushed off for the next release. Because this adds to total content and brings it closer to a "full" game, they make less truly new content.

Adapting or borrowing from other work is very common. It's been said that there are only 13 truly original story lines and I read one article that claimed there were actually only 8. Everything is influenced by other things. This is not what we are discussing. We are talking about transplanting content from one game to another. I hope you're right that it's been at least revisited to properly fit into this new game, but you have no clue.

In short, I'm fine if that content just beefed up what Inquisition was going to be, but if it replaces other content that could or would have been, I have a problem with that.

Unless they use it as an excuse to make less new content. Or.... DAY 1 DLC!

As Kantr said, there's no day 1 dlc...

But I'm more concerned about the bolded part... How would you know that there is "less" new content?  The story is either complete or it isn't... The addition of Legacy and Mark of the Assassin DLCs didn't mean that DA2 was made with the excuse that there was "less new content" in it...

My issue with the Keep is that when it imported my PCs I was given a choice of all the Warden/Champion characters I'd ever created even though many were in fact PCs that I'd only played for a level or two and had deleted from my save game files. Where I really ran into a problem was I had used the same PC name so I ended up with many PCs with the same name and no way to tell them apart. What would really help is if the PCs were listed with what level they were enabling me to select the PC that I had actually played or to not list the PCs that I'd deleted.

Those are completely different (I hope). Legacy and Assassin were made after DA:2 (I hope) and were added on. That's fine. Whatever was supposed to be added to DA2, was made before or along with Inquisition. As far as "the story is complete or it isn't", all that means is that there is a beginning and an end. There could always be more in the middle. Also, like most of these DLCs, it need not be related to the main plot, but it's still interesting content.

As we've discussed in other contexts, they have limited development time and resources, so working on one thing limits your ability to do something else. Now if it was already pretty much done, it might not take that long.

As to how I would know, it's possible I never would know, but that wouldn't mean it didn't happen. I brought it up as a possibility, but didn't claim it happened. But we've seen it before with other games. Granted, most examples I've heard were for smaller developers.

As it doesn't affect the sync whether you played any particular warden for 5 minutes or 6 months it hardly matters.

The 2D avatar will have a nice armour or a base set, so pick the nice one  :D

I don't understand, doesn't the Keep use the PC that I select to import the choices that PC made during the game?
