I don't understand, doesn't the Keep use the PC that I select to import the choices that PC made during the game?

 

No, just some minor details. You have to select all your choices. It's actually pretty fun, I think.

How is it recycled content if we've never seen it? Anyway, no doubt it's undergone massive changes since it was first supposed to be a Hawke-centric piece.

 

But clearly, you're not a writer or creative type. Recycling old ideas is what we do. I've used fanfic ideas in my original stuff (not characters, mind you, just ideas) and I know I'm not the only one. Some people even profit off that. 50 Shades of Grey started out as a Twilight fanfic. A published author I know revamped a Doctor Who fanfic to be an original story.

Yeah, I have characters that I originally created in White Wolf's rolelplaying game that I've adapted to later games I've played.  Like for example, Jennica was originally a mage, and being White Wolf, human.  When I adapted her to Pathfinder I found that the Changeling race better fit her origins.  She was adopted and I'd always had the idea that her biological mother was a Nephandi (if you don't know WW, Nephandi are evil mages that allow their soul to be destroyed and replaced by a demon), so what better for her to be in Pathfinder than a hag?

Last Court Question:

 

In the Gathering Resources Tab you can "Summon a Subject" - "This costs Authority, the worthies of your realm don't enjoy being dragged here at your convenience, and your power has limits"

 

In the Send For Tab you can ask for an of the possibly counselors to attend you (save the Dashing Outlaw).

 

I have not tried the former but what is the difference between the two? Does the "Summon a Subject" option ask for non-affialited npcs like the herald or bailiff?

The "summon a subject" option in gathering resources seems to just send you to the "send for" screen... Except you lose an authority if you change your mind in the middle of the process...

Tentatively, it's tomorrow.  Likely around noon EST...  But again, it's an "unconfirmed" statement from the Keep twitch stream(meaning, as they said "update on Tuesday" they said "but it might not happen on Tuesday").

Dragon Age Keep question if i may.

 

I have my own DAO and DA2 saves and profiles in PC and bought with same origin account I did registered into the keep. So importing my saves to Keep was kinda easy.

 

Problem is my sisters have their Hwakes and Wardens in PS3 and I dont exactly know how to connect my PSN account to my Origin one and is it even possible if I already uploaded data from one platform already.

 

So, help would be much appreaciated.

To link an Origin ID with a PSN account you should follow these instructions.

I'm not sure, but - with regard to your own saves - I think you may have misunderstood what the Keep does. It will try to bring into the Tapestry the name and appearance of your DA:O and DA2 characters ("syncing"). For some people that's worked and for some it hasn't. Either way, your save games are not imported.

 

If it looks as if the decisions you made in the game are correctly reflected in the Keep, then that's just a coincidence. You should probably check the other tiles because you will almost certainly have to change some of them if you want the Tapestry to correctly reflect everything you did in your own playthroughs.

Depends on what you mean by playthroughs.  If you mean name and portrait, they should be (although I think i read earlier that the Keep is having some trouble with the consoles uploading).  If you mean actual game decisions, no that will not ever be uploaded. Due to numerous import bugs in previous games (Dragon Age AND Mass Effect) the Keep is how Bioware is doing imports from now on.

 

 

 

I've just finished a playthrough on Xbox 360 and I'm in the final stages of one on PS3 and I was curious if my recent Wardens and Hawkes will be uploaded on the Keep.

No, they did not. Even though they are all like "ask us anything you want" on the Twitich stream, they only answer the more general questions (and this is maybe just my impression but I think they're basically answering the same questions every time). Not to mention that Renata said we can ask questions in a forum topic and then completely ignored that in the stream.

Maybe there is just no point as many of us have reported it a bug, it's fixed just not updated. If they don't consider it a bug, what do they consider it? What actually happened, because based on opinions from people here, that certainly isn't true.

 

If the game launches with this still in place I might not even use the Keep, I'll go from their default all the time as if I can't create my original World State, then what's the point in using any as they don't care about it?
