I can´t download most of my characters from DAO nor DA2. Only couple of each though I have like 20 in Origins both gender and close to ten in DA2, also both genders. Anyone have this problem?
Yup. It's not just you. Lots of people are finding that one or more of their Heroes won't sync. For some reason, DA:O seems to be more of a problem but there are also others (like me!) who haven't had any characters sync from either game. While it's a little annoying, however, the failure or partial failure of your characters to sync shouldn't affect your DA:I experience.
Here's a summary of what we know (or think we know!) about syncing characters:
Syncing characters from DA:O - this has little or no effect on DA:I. The Warden from DA:O does not appear in DA:I although he/she will be mentioned. Choose a character with the same sex, race and class as one you're missing and that will probably give you exactly the same references in DA:I as you would have got if your character had made it into the Keep.
Syncing characters from DA2 - we've been told the Champion from DA2 will appear in DA:I. BW have said, however, that if you meet him/her, we will be able to customise him/her so that the Hawke we meet will be our Hawke. Again, therefore, if you choose a Hawke of the same sex and class from the standard options available, the fact that your Hawke hasn't made it into the Keep won't have any real effect on DA:I.
And, just for completeness, do remember that you always have to recreate your characters' stories manually in the Tapestry. This is true even if your characters do show up in the Keep so, again, although it's frustrating when your characters don't appear (trust me, I know!), it doesn't affect DA:I.
