I know this has probably been asked a thousand times and probably is an incredibly stupid question so I apologize in advance and appreciate the help.

I have 2 separate world states made for two separate playthroughs.

1 for a Mage and 1 for a Rogue.

The Mage is already made and the keep uploaded just fine.

Loading a different world state on my rogue will not affect the world state of my Mage in any way correct?

Yes that's correct. Changing a worldstate after starting a game won't affect that game in any way.

Okay good thank you.

Wanted to take a break from my Mage and try out an Archer, but I was worried that by switching world states for her it might screw everything up :P

Apologies if this has been asked/answered previously but is there the same 10 state limit on playthrough world states as editable world states?

The main reason I ask is because I want to do 11 playthroughs using 10 created world states and just overwriting one of them. My main query I guess is if there is a max of 10 playthrough states then is there a way for me to dictate which one is overwritten?

As of now, no there is no way to dictate that(They could be working on that like having a pop-up screen similar to one the when you click on a editable world state) The only way I think of of how to dictate which one is over written to delete that playthrough in DA:I(Though not 100% sure)

Report this as a suggestion for being able to delete playthroughs on the keep.

Ha, I managed to a double-whammy, then.  That'd be cool, if we could rename our heroes in-game. I wouldn't mind that.

Also, made a new save-game and the same thing happened again, Lyna and Garret instead of Ferthyr and Orson. Weird.

Actuall both my warden and hawke.

Wonder what the point of character import was if the game was to ignore them? At least it didnt change the gender and class (and race for DA:O)

Player satisfaction? :)

You know how passionate people are about their character.

But yeah if they said no character import, there would have been a riot, but they could avoided importing issues(It's Damn if you do, Damn if you don't situation)

Putting this in spoiler tags, just in case.  But, we all know Hawke shows up so it shouldn't be too bad, as I am not giving any actual quest details.

Spoiler

Here is pictures of my Hawke, both her Keep portrait and a screenshot from DAI.

That's cool , but one question, In the keep in the Playthrough states, did your Warden and/or Hawke get reverted to the defaults?(I don't think this matters since it seems we have to headcanon the name of our Hawkes, but just wondering)

They got changed to the default. But first names dont show up and the hawkes tone stays as you set them

Thanks, as long as gender, class, and personality of Hawke in DA:I  match the choices I made for that world state in the keep, I'm happy.(Haven't met Hawke yet so I was curious if the revert to default in the keep affected anything).

Seeing as the stuff about Hawke is set in the tapestry it doesnt change anything.

Sorry to ask the same question as im sure several othet million people have had since dragon age keep went up, but im trying to figure out how to get my saved world state into da:I for my ps4. My orgin account has me linked to my psn account and shows up when I log into the keep as having a connected persona but when export and get my box with the green check mark then load up a new da:I game I only get default settings. I know its default because I saw the "hawke" which isnt my saved world state hawke. Any suggestions please help out a long time bioware fan

Are you sure you are logged in when starting Inquisition?

For me I have the game set to log me into the Keep servers when I press the option button.

Also double check that when signing into the keep website that the personas attached to it are correct.

Having the same problem as hansener39. I loaded my world state into my first playthrough just fine. Now I'm trying to make a new character and I can't get it to pick up my world state to save my life. I'm logged into the EA servers (I can play multiplayer) and my world state is definitely exported to DAI. I've tried restarting my console, signing out and back in my XBox profile, re-exporting my world state... nothing is working. I only have one EA and XBox account.

Hi all.  Apologies if this has been asked already, but here goes.

I linked my DA:I install to the wrong account.  It's no problem; EA even has a handy guide for how to share your worldstates between multiple profiles (although it'd be lovely to switch my DA:I install to the proper Origin account).  But for now it's fine.

The problem is, having added the two accounts as friends in Origin, this isn't reflected in the Keep.  And when I try and send a friend invitation in the Keep, I get a "Server Error 500" message (having tried this repeatedly from both accounts).

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Apologies if this has been asked and answered a bazillion times, but... once I import a world state into Inquisition, do I have to login to the keep every time I want to play the game, or can I just start playing?

Check the Options. It may be that it is set to log in automatically every time you start the game.

Contributing to the deluge of questions here!

I set up my Keep account pretty early on, well before Inquisition came out. All three of my games are on PS3 and I set up my world saves in the Keep just peachy keen, my custom Hawke and all. When I started DA:I for the first time, it said it imported from my Keep just fine as well (I only have one world state). It confirmed the import so quickly I was almost paranoid! But Varric mentiond Carver pretty early on in the game and seeing as my Hawke was a mage, I took it as a good sign. But the game now seems to be picking and choosing what it imported? Leliana mentioned my Warden had died when she very much lived. But Alistair and Anora are still ruling together as it occurred in my playthrough of Origins. Today, I come to find out my Hawke didn't sync. It only gives me the option for Default Dude Hawke or Custom Dude Hawke. It'd be only a minor inconvenience to try and recreate my Hawke in the character creator, but to add insult to injury, it won't give me the option to change Hawke's gender. (and in the cutscene where the Inquisitor speaks to Hawke for the first time, my Inquisitor's voice actor completely changed!!) I've restarted the game and my PS3 to no avail. I was 99% sure I had everything imported correctly but I'm really scared I just wasted hours and hours playing up to this point. Has this happened to anyone else?

It sounds to me as if the game didn't import your World Sate (even if it said it did!), and you've been playing the default version. Since the default version of Hawke is a mage, Carver isn't a reliable indicator. Before playing any further, you can check this by going to your "Playthrough State" in the Keep, copying it into the Editable States section and checking the details in the Tapestry).

Be aware, though, that some of the things you mentioned (Wardens being referred to by their default names, change of voices after meeting Hawke) seem to be bugs that are affecting people even when their World States have been (in other respects) correctly imported. Either way, it's probably worth checking.

Click the menu icon (top left-hand corner) to access your list of World States. The Playthrough States are on the second page (click the arrow to scroll right).

Okay so I have a question, I have looked in the forums and can't find an answer.

I have my world state set up with my first DA:I profile. I have been playing and its great. I want to start a new game with one of my other world states. The Keep tells me that loading this world state will delete my current world state in my game slot.

Will this mess up my first game? I want to continue playing it with the world state I started it with. But I want to do my "bad decisions" world state in a new game. Is it possible to do that or do I need to complete my first playthrough before starting a new game with a new world state?

Hope this makes sense.

No. When you export your new World State, it goes into a kind of "holding area" ready to be imported into DA:I. You can only have one WS in the holding area at once, so it will delete the one that's currently in the holding area.

It won't, however, affect any World States still in the main area of the Keep or already downloaded into a game.

Is there any topic or thread that has been started to inform Keepers of updates to the Keep story line?

For instance, I went back in today and rechecked all my tapestry choices and found the one pertaining to Amalia and Kitty was changed to include her father Matthias. That was cool, but what wasn't cool was my choice in that matter had now switched to Amalia being possessed; a change from my original choice of her not being possessed and Kitty being dead. This surprised me since I had locked my world state, and didn't expect the change.

Also, the video now plays longer, including events from Dragon Age Inquisition I imagine. Again, pretty cool, but unexpected.

So is there anyplace that is listing these changes, or did I miss them in the important announcements that show up?

Hey Guys,

Ok, i made a new origin acc so I can have a fresh start since I forgot my old one. However I am unable to upload my custom DA:O Heroes into the keep. I looked around and I also found out my heroes don't even appear in my Bioware social acount. Even when I'm logged in DA:O it doesn't show. Any help?

Heroes are linked to the Origins account the player logged into when they played one of the games, making a new account means no heroes or data. As you said, a fresh start. You would need to log into your new Origins account on those games to link the heroes from those games to that account, otherwise you'll need to make heroes from scratch using the Keep.

But I have done what you said. It just that the heroes I've made are not showing up for some reason. The heroes from DA2 are shown but not the ones from DA:O

I believe then your problem is one that had been mentioned in the Common Issues and their Fixes thread and the How to get your Wardens into the Keep thread, check those two places first.
