I can't choose from that list with default Wardens/Hawkes. It's only letting me choose from custom imported ones.
There used to be a long list of default ones, did they remove this?

Click the box next to default heroes. Now that box is unchecked if you have custom characters.

The only things I can click there are submit feedback and visit forum.
Oh well, I started a new playthrough with the same world state I used the first time :/

Really!? When you go to the list of heroes. Right under submit feedback, there should be a checkbox next to Default Heroes.

Hello,

I am trying to find a resolution to my issue. I edited my tapestry and uploaded it to the keep, and it seemed to work wonderfully until I got to the part in the game where it is important - I don't want to spoil anything - but the person you are supposed to have does not show up for me, it's a generic male instead of my specific person and I do not know how to fix it. I refuse to go any further in the game until I can fix it, and it's very frustrating.

Please help!

I have two questions:

1. How do I name my Warden/Hawke characters from DAO and DA2?

2. Is there a specific release date for when the Inquisition choices will be added to the keep tapestry or is that not decided on yet?

1) You don't. They already have names. The names are only for you to distinguish your characters.

No, the update specifically said you can now customize the characters' names.

Ah, very cool. I didn't see that.

I went through the keep and made all the choices just the way I wanted them, then I jumped into  Inquisition and started my game.  Now I'm 30 or so hours in.  I was just looking in the keep seeing different possibilities when I noticed I had missed a decision in my world state.  I completely missed the block about obtaining Flemeth's grimoire.  My interactions with Morrigan are important to me and in my Origins game I killed Flemeth to get the grimoire.  I changed that decision in the keep, but will it still effect my game? I really don't want to have to restart being 30 hours in all because I missed a block in the keep.

No, it will not change the current game. If you go to your Inquisition worldstates tab in the Keep, you can see what the status is for your playthrough.

So do I have to start over if I want that decision in my game?

Hi guys, i have a short question regarding the Keep and DA-I.

I did make a worldstate (incl. DA Origins and DA2) for DA-I and imported it into DA-I. Yesterday i've finished my first DA-I playthrough. I guess the Keep already has "noted" my choices, right? But you can't access them yet in the keep.

And now my question...

I would like to play DA-I a second time (if possible with the same world state created for the first playthrough), are the choices i've made in my first playthrough (hopefully already noted in the keep) going to be overwritten by my upcoming choices in my second playthrough?

If it works this way - how can i avoid that?

(I'd like to keep my choices from the first playthrough for further DLCs / games).

On my phone so double quoting is a pain...

@Deird: Yes but I don't think that choice has any impact so I would just fix it in the world state generated from playing the game prior to playing DA4.

Start a new game and it will go to a different play through state.

Allright! Thankfully that's pretty easy. Thanks!

I want to start a second character for DAI and would like a totally different world state than the 3 I currently have. Do I have to delete one to do that?

You can create up to ten world states so there's no reason the delete them.

I was wondering are there some choices that don't import properly? I initially played as an elf with most of what I could remember of what I wanted for my first DA:I playthrough, but after 30 hours and just arriving at Skyhold I decided I hated the way my elf looked in the initial romance cutscene. Sounds a little shallow I know but I kind of roleplay my character and make choices I think that character would make and he just didn't feel Dalish (I think it was the voice and his responses didn't seem right for his backstory), so this was just one extra thing that made me want to come back to the character later.

Suffice to say I'm the kind of player for whom little story elements really matter to my enjoyment of the game (which I absolutely love). On my second attempt at a first playthrough I changed some things that I thought would give me a more interesting world: Alistair a drunk, Loghain alive, human Warden married to Anora, Isolde dead and convinced Branka to destroy the anvil. Unfortunately after six hours it seems my world state, despite being imported correctly, has decided something else for me. My codex has decided Branka made golems for the Warden (I decided I could live with that and carried on), Loghain is alive, but I've just spoken to Connor, he didn't mention his mother (seemed strange but maybe that's how it's supposed to be), and worse he questioned the mindset of Alistair. Alistair should be a drunk, so while I can accept that he would make bad choices, as he shouldn't be the king his impaired decision making skills shouldn't be a factor in why the mages are in Redcliffe.

It's been a while since I played DA1 and DA2, so I'm not sure if the Keep has let me create world states that can't exist, it's not recognising some of the choices or they just aren't actually usable (I've gone through the Tapestry too and Varric sometimes described different events to what I had chosen). Anyone able to shed any light on this or know if it's being fixed? I think I'd prefer to wait and just replay the first two games if there's a big risk of getting to later points and having a lot of big choices made for me at random. I haven't met Morrigan yet, but I know she appears and I really don't want her to have a non-demon child and a scheduled Maury appearance to say the Warden fathered it. I think the Keep is a brilliant idea but it's a shame to spend a while deciding on a world state, importing it, and then playing for a few hours and finding out it hasn't taken for whatever reason.

Thanks in advance, sorry the post is so long.

Connor is known to not follow politics too closely (I.e., it is a bug). Not sure on the Branka one. It could either be a bug or they forgot that she could kill herself when building DAI so it isn't accounted for (I recall the option was a late addition to the Keep).

Great, thank you for your response. I think you may be correct about Branka being an oversight, as Varric talks about the Warden siding with Branka and making golems in his run through of the Tapestry even with Branka's sacrifice selected.

Okay, so I've been trying for at least a week to get into the Keep and edit my World State, but I keep hitting the "Oops, an error occured" message asking me to reload the page. I do, and it keeps popping back up. I've tried it from three different connections on two computers.

I can't edit my World States or view my Tapestry, but feedback, Heroes and Career is working fine. Is anyone having this issue or know what I'm talking about, or am I the annomally in the statistics?

According to the new features I should be able to "You can now preview playthough world states in the ‘Playthrough State’ section, instead of having to copy them to ‘Editable States’ to see a preview. This way, you can be sure you’re copying over the correct state to load in the Tapestry." But i don't see any option to do so. Unless my definition of previewing is different from theirs. In my definition I would be able to view the choices made without having to load them into the Tapestry.

Am I wrong or is this a bug I should report?

To be clear, I can click on a 'current playthrough' and I can see the three heroes in the popup box. I can add a description. But other than 'copy to editable' and 'back' there are no buttons to push. I have even tried clicking on several places in the popup screen to no avail.

The popup screen is the preview to playthrough states(Similar to the preview screen of the editable world states). Not a bug.
