Also i'm unsure if this is intentional or a bug, but to get the Give Isabela to Arishok/Arishok lives choice to work, you need to have it set to no romance.
Thoughts?

The Keep seems to only count the DA2 romances if they're active at the very end of the game. You can't set it to both 'Fenris romanced' and 'Fenris handed over to Danarius', either, or to 'Sebastian romanced' and 'Anders alive' even though those decisions are also possible in the game itself. (The only exception seems to be Anders himself - you can romance him and still execute him at the end.)
You are mostly correct regarding Merrill. The only technicality that you are wrong with is that she also doesn't destroy it if you don't get her rivalry high enough (so 25 rivalry and she won't destroy it). And I would say there are a few other decisions related to affection, but the others boil down to "did the character not hate you enough to betray you," so they only kind of count count.
Anyways if you want more character affection related plot states, then request them via feedback.
Yeah, completely forgot about this possibility. Also (this just came to my mind) how can the situation "not too much rivalry/friendship" be implemented? Even Varric's choice now is either friendship/rivalry. I know, it's unlikely that you have finished the game without maxing/75% rivalry or friendship bar of at least one companion, still it's a possibility.
And I'm requesting things. Every other hour I have an idea and I request it. I think I'm spamming the devs ![]()
In the recent QA video they said there was a different art style before the current one. Does anyone of pictures of the old art style?
Not sure, but maybe they were talking about the one you could have seen on the leaked pictures? It's not really 'different' style, though.
I know this because when these pictures got leaked (before I got into the Keep) I have asked my friend to save them somewhere on his computer, so when I see the final build of the Keep I can look at these pictures and compare. Since I got into the Keep
before it went into open beta I've looked at these leaked pictures... and I'm actually glad I haven't gotten into the Keep earlier. I think I would have been disappointed.

They are out there. Although they arent suposed to be. It was just grey tiles before though.
I am too confused about the cullen friendship I havent played the game in 6 months but I dont remember much opportunity to be chatty with him. Unlike with Morrigan where the friendship matters to her.
I have assumed that there are still issues with syncing your previous DAO and DA2 saves with the Keep.
I only ask, because my PC DAO saves are synced, Xbox DA2 saves are synced (but not my DLC). But my DAO Xbox saves are nowhere to be seen but my BSN profile is updated
(most of my saves are on this console)
I am going to be positive and hope that it sorts itself out. If not, I will create world states similar to games I have played (if I can remember all the details!)
Yeah. But one thing already bother me...there is no Cullen "Friendship " in DA2.
I have no idea what this is supposed to mean ,in most of my playthrough I talked with him from time to time ...
Sometimes I disagree with him about some stuff but it was still mostly polite.
If we get a Cullen friendship which didn't exist in game , and still no BFF Morrigan , I think I'm going to be annoyed.
I'm puzzled by this as well. Was this actually a flag in the DA2 backend? It sometimes felt like it was, but I doubt most players are aware. So I would think this would just boil down to headcanon?
Cullen stops Meredith from killing you no matter what. Hawke calls him "old friend" but it didn't seem to depend on much I did. You can really annoy Cullen with certain choices, like telling him you don't want to choose templar/mage sides and he yells that it's not a scholarly debate, but is that the same as not being friends?

I have the same problem. just with ps3.
One quick thing. And maybe I just haven't figured out how to do it yet. Is there a "save as" type feature for your world state? I pretty much have one DA:O world state I want to import, but many different ones for DA2. So it would be nice to save a copy of a world state, and just edit the parts I want to change instead of clicking the Plus for a new world state and it seeming to reset my whole tapestry for this new state. But... maybe I've also done something wrong...?

Nope, there is no save as function. You gotta create a new state for each one. It would be a nice function to have, like maybe a copy function or something similar maybe as a save as would probably lead people to think they could download the states to their desktop maybe. You should put it in feedback via the tool.

I agree, that tile seems superfluous considering other important choices and quests that haven't made it in yet. The only reason I can see this being important is the DA:I team told the Keep team to add if for story reasons. Or maybe the Cullenites steamrolled the feedback button. ![]()

That does seem to make sense, (the game team asking it to be added) as we're going to be interacting with him a lot I guess he'll have lines about Kirkwall and The Champion

Well, if you think about it, the more unimportant a choice seems, the easier it probably is to work it in to the Keep. (Fewer conflicts.) Although I dunno, maybe DA2 did keep track of your relationship with Cullen, based on how hostile your dialogue choices were or something.
About the Cullen thing. It could refer to DA:O where he had the crush on your female mage Warden. And how you handled it in the game no?
It's in the DA2 section, though, and specifically refers to Hawke.
This is the first question in the Keep that I'm not sure how to answer - as in, I'm not sure what decision(s) it's actually referring to, not just 'I can't remember if Warden #5 murderknifed Ruck or not and it's not in my journal.'
I'm puzzled by this as well. Was this actually a flag in the DA2 backend? It sometimes felt like it was, but I doubt most players are aware. So I would think this would just boil down to headcanon?

I have no idea what his friendship is supposed to be...
In most of my playthrough I always kept in touch with Cullen , asking "What's up?" when I went to the Gallows.
By the end of the game , he's rather friendly .But I also had arguments with him .
I've never played a full pro templar playthrough , so maybe he is different and you can be BFF?

I actually do recall being able to befriend Cullen, but you had to talk to him every act. He opens up about himself if you do, so maybe that's what that choice to referring to? I remember if you speak with him in Act 1 and don't in Act 2 then talk to him in Act 3 he isn't as responsive. Not completely sure tho o.O
Seeing this choice makes me think it's actually reflected in DA:I, which brings another question (and I wonder if this has been discussed) out of all the choices we see in the keep and those about to be added that we know about, which ones do you think will actually reflect DA:I?
The important ones are obvious, who rules Ferelden, which side did Hawke take. I hope that he Halla is a possible mount, and Bella could be in charge of Skyhold's Tavern
I totally missed any mentioning of the Cullen Friendship thing, but maybe it will just be the difference between Cullen saying something like, "I never got know Hawke," versus "I spoke frequently with Hawke during my time in Kirkwall." *shrug*

I think, not enough rivalry/friendship is probably something that is not worth having a separate decision for. It would be causing too much hair splitting, and would never really be referenced. Just having the events that can result from too low affection (Isabella not returning, certain companions dying or abandoning you) is good enough, as long as they add in more friendship/rivalry options. As for Varric's option, that seems like it is simply which side you were on in order to determine how Varric talks about Hawke in DAI.

Regarding Cullen "friendship;" perhaps it is an odd word choice considering the Friendship and Rivalry system used in DA2, but I didn't take it that way. You can certainly be friendly or antagonistic toward various non-follower NPCs and not accrue points either way, it simply sets the tone of your roleplay with that character.
Remember, the Keep isn't only something used to import choices into DAI and future games, but is a means to record your (and your character's) time in Thedas and how they interacted with the world. You can share your tapestry and say, "These are my characters, and this is how how they shaped Thedas," and the person will come away knowing what the state of your world is along with the personality that you've given your characters based on how they interact with others and the choices they've made.
I agree with you on Cullen but I understand the Tallis one, I roleplayed my hawke as anti qun after act 2, and argued with Tallis every chance I got about the qunari. I still went with her in the cave but I tried to take the list from her, and she shouted at my hawke and gave a death glare, this was after she gave me the jewel so it was too late for her to take that back. In a different playthrough I was nicer about the qun and tried the same thing, she just seemed sad and lacked the glare or shouting so I can understand that tile being there.I see the Cullen option as a way to set how Cullen will talk about/react to Hawke. It's true that Cullen is never exactly... antagonistic, even if you play a very pro-mage character.
The "did you make Tallis angry?" tile is similarly confusing. Whether you help Tallis or not, she still gives you the gem.
I still want her on a T-shirt, dammit.

You have no idea how much I would want a shirt like that. xD Especially since her tile's so DRAMATIC! ![]()
