Not really a Keep question, but was wondering if someone could help me out with this:
I've been replaying DA2 the past few days, with one of the characters I've created a worldstate for. In the Keep there's an option as to whether you sided with Sister Petrice or not. Now, I tried my hardest in this playthrough to side with her - however the only choices I've ever found were very clearly anti-Petrice; though some of them were anti-Qunari as well. In particular, the scene where you come across the Qunari who have been abducted by Templars and are about to be executed. I chose the option the "kill the Qunari option" and Hawke told the lead Templar that if he was going to kill the Qunari, to get it over with already. The Templar said he didn't trust me, cut the Qunari's throat and then attacked me. After that, every dialogue option I had was along the lines of "I hate Sister Petrice" whenever the subject came up.
I figured somehow I got locked out of siding with her early on, and didn't think anything of it. However, I just watched a video where someone did side with Petrice. The "kill the Qunari" decision had Hawke saying something completely different (which I figured was due to them playing a ruthless character, while I was playing a sarcastic one); the Templar said he didn't trust Hawke, and then the player was given an option to kill the Qunari themselves. This led to them teaming up with the Templars to wipe out the remaining Qunari. I do not remember being given this choice - I know if I had saw it I would've chosen it. 0o
Is the "siding with Petrice" option only available to a ruthless Hawke? 0o Is there any other way I could've been locked out of that second option? Or was I on such autopilot last night that I don't remember even making a second decision, and so completely used to choosing the sarcastic option that I just didn't see that I had a 'kill Qunari yourself' option? o0
