Hey there -

The issue with scrolling on iOS and Chrome is a known bug.  It should work in Safari, or you can "fix" it in Chrome by doing something to the page before you try to scroll.  Switching between portrait and landscape orientations, or entering and exiting the hero tile should both work.

Renata (or any other bioware worker), can you confirm if we´ll have updates today?

Nothing today, but there will be an update this week. We'll let you all know when that happens :)

I can't reproduce that issue with Zevran locally (on the development site) so it may have been fixed.

For the comment about Shale and Kitty missing a rule dependency a few pages back, I just got a bug entered for that as well - thanks for the heads up!

Ok I am a new Keeper, and right now I only have access to the Keep from my phone. I'm having trouble scrolling through all the plot choices, it will only scroll so far and I'm left with just a few plot choices. Can anyone tell me why this is happening or tell me how I can access the rest of the choices from my phone.

Are you in Chrome?  If so, this is a known bug - you can "fix" it by selecting one of the tiles you can see, and going back up one level, or by switching from portrait to landscape.  Once the page has been "touched" like this, it should work correctly.

Hi Fanas -

We had a brief instant a second ago that reproduced that way - can you try again now?

That sounds like either a few specific tiles (Kitty, Goldana and a few others we added) that are not saving, or for all tiles (if you are on PS4)

If it's something else, like having all changes revert on Chrome or Safari, it may be a new bug.

Hi hatenchaos -

The issue about DAO is expected - we've disabled syncing in the Keep for a while, so no new data (heroes, etc) will show.  Part of that work was, as you noted, marking the BSN read-only, so you can't use those tools.  However, your characters should still be uploading and saved as you play, so we can pull the data in the Keep, once syncing is re-enabled.

For the other issue you mention, about not remembering exactly what you did - personally, I view it as "if I can't remember, it doesn't matter".  DAO/DA2 have a log of what you did for some choices, but also have some known bugs for some quests .  If you don't want to use those logs, I would personally enter and lock in the high-level choices you can remember and want to retain, and then pick whichever other plot choices you find most interesting - the Keep doesn't force you to choose what you *did do, so feel free to create a world with what you would *like to have done.

The most info we get about you, or your machine, is similar to the following.  I've pulled this from a random piece of feedback.

If you have some other info about your machine that you think is relevant (e.g. type of device), please feel free to include it - more info is always useful.

  •  Desktop
  •  Win8.1
  •  Chrome 37.0
  •  1366 x 667
  •  en-US

How does it determine between laptop and desktop?

I think it's just whether your device reports as "mobile" or not - browsers have different user agent strings sometimes.  We also can look at the resolution of your machine to get an idea for that.  I don't usually reference that specific field very heavily though, in either case, since it's a bit unclear..

It reflects Keep language.  Once localization is added to the Keep, that field will be a lot more important - right now, it's always English :)

You might have to delete those world states where the reverting happens. I had to delete my world states where that was happening and the new ones work fine now.

Do you recall if the worldstate that was not letting you make changes was created from a shared world state?

Hi Exodusdex -

I tried searching for your feedback item to get more info about your error, but I'm having trouble finding it.

Can you send me a PM with the characters or string you are trying to use?

Edit - I found the comment, but it doesn't seem to have the string you are trying to use mentioned in it.

I tried on both Chrome and Firefox. No approve buttons.

Are you viewing the "Heroes" page, or the Heroes section in the Tapestry?

You can only approve heroes from in the tapestry - the heroes page does not allow you to assign heroes to your world state at present.

The keep in maintenance at the moment. Wondering whats being added? :)

No updates to the Keep today, sadly - just making sure things are in good shape for open beta on Wednesday :)

The hard way: type your choices in a textfile or spreadsheet

The easy way: I don't think the keep has a function for that. Suggest that as a feature, who knows they might consider it.

You *could also send it to a friend, and have them send it back.

I believe we have cloning in the backlog as an improvement, but it is not planned to be in by DAI launch.

I believed that was changed based on some feedback - the actual plot contents and art weren't changed, as you noted, just the ordering.

yea this right here lol i get stuck on step 3 of sync your data  :crying:

You can fix this by changing the part of the URL that reads "fuex" to read "worldvault".  Once that is done, unlock the world and you should be ok for the next time (or make a new, unlocked world, and select it before you run the sync tool)

Very possible, in my opinion.

The working assumption during the Closed Beta was that the tiles for choices which were in the early build of the Tapestry were probably the ones that will affect things in DA:I (because they knew they would be needed). Throughout Beta, however, people have been asking for more tiles to be added because they want the Tapestry to reflect their full DA experience.

There's a few factors here -

The way we expected players to use the Keep changed over the course of its development, so the tiles we show also changed, adding & removing them as needed. As mentioned, other choices were added based on fan feedback, either to better capture some possible outcomes, or to track plots that were specifically called out as missing.

There are some tiles we don't actually need to show in the Keep for us to know the answers to - for example, Morrigan's human baby can be "solved" for on our end by checking if you did the Dark Ritual and also romanced her.  The tile isn't specifically needed here, but it does help make things more clear when you edit your world state, and also helps show another outcome that players might otherwise not be aware of for that plot.  Another example mentioned above is the Orlesian Warden - even if we don't have a tile explicitly showing they were used, we can still do some logic here by checking if the Warden is dead at the same time Awakenings choices were performed.

Hi apricotbeast -

If the world state is reporting as locked, you can unlock it (or create a new one to edit instead) in the World State Manager.

Click the "globe" in the upper right, and then the world state that has the same name as the one you are editing.  There should be a padlock icon that looks locked and which will then unlock the world for you.

If you want to make a new world, click the "+" icon instead :)

It sure has! Just a note, you might run into a few issues as we're still smoothing a few things out, but only for a short period of time.

Why is the Keep still not working??

Try clearing your browser's cache if you haven't done so. Let us know if it still isn't working after that.

Okay thanks for letting us know! What browsers (including version) and devices are you using to access the site? We're looking into this issue right now.

If you find things still are wonky for you, try clearing your cache, closing your browser, re-opening it and visiting the Keep again.

I've tried logging into the Keep with Chrome just now. I can successfully log in, and it takes me to a tapestry for a world state that somebody shared with me. (Not my currently loaded DA:I world state, and not the world state that I was looking at before the update.) Navigating off of this page is impossible because I just get the "oops, an error occurred" alert for any and every action I take.

EDIT: Further testing indicates that it actually isn't "any and every action". I get the "oops" alert when the Keep opens (it goes straight to the tapestry as before) and when I try to access other world states. I can, however, edit the current world state and use the social tabs.

Are you not able to open the left hand menu in the Keep and click the 'World States" option?
