Wait I thought it wasn't possible to save both Vigil's Keep and Amaranthine? Or does it mean if you save Amaranthine but also do all the upgrades to the keep?
Pretty sure it means saving Amaranthine and upgrading the Keep.

thats what I figured just making sure since thats what I did in Awakening
My DA:O characters are still not turning up, but now on the Profile diagnostics page it's giving me a 'Invalid persona/game combination' error. Tried changing the personas but it doesn't seem to work for either of the two that are in my EA account..
I feel stupid, but I can't find the "Profile Diagnostics" page anywhere on the Origin site or in the client. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Also not finding the ISS in the Keep. I feel quite dumb.

Can't help with the profile diagnostics, but to play the ISS you just have to hit the play button. It's in the upper right hand corner, just below notifications.
The profile diagnostic page is on your legacy BSN profile. you know the old one from before they switched to this new forum. as for the play button it is the arrow on upper right hand side of the tapestry under the beta feedback button and what ever you may have named your worldstate.

Thanks. The ISS button just gives me the error message saying the feature is coming soon. Maybe I just need to log out and then back in. I'll try that; if it doesn't work I'll submit it.
ETA: Yep; that did it. Thanks!

you're very welcome. glad I could help. ![]()
Found another decision that isn't sticking - whether or not you helped Oghren in awakening.
Does the ISS ties to your Bioware profile?
Anyway, it tends to stop playing halfway for me.
And my achievements for DAO are not reflected?
I have a question. Why is there a skeleton if Hawke doesn't seek out Seamus in Act 1? I know he dies in Act 2, but can he die in Act 1?
do i have to lock the worldstates to make my choices stick?
anyway, i am confused on why i can save both Armanrantine and Vigil's Keep. Pretty sure u can only choose one in the final battle?
and i just played DA2, there is a mutually exclusive side quest and I only got the Armanrantine one.
I know we can upgrade the keep but i think it should be make clearer. the keep is still 'lost'.
Also, i think it is wrong to protray Seamus in Skelton in act 1 as he don't die regardless u did the side quest or not.
I think it's just asking if you upgraded the keep. Many of your companions can survive by upgrade the keep, but if you don't, all of them that stay die.

You don't have to lock them to stick, but I thought it was worth a try. As for Amaranthine and the Vigil's Keep - indeed, you can only save one. If the Keep is upgraded, then it kind of saves itself without your help. I.e. possible outcomes:
You hadn't upgraded the Keep:
You had upgraded the Keep:
As for DAII - no idea, really. Maybe the prerequisite for one of them is "Amaranthine is saved" and for the other "Amaranthine is destroyed", not "Amaranthine saved" and "Vigil's Keep saved" respectively. In first case, you get the first quest regardless of the Keep's fate and the flags won't conflict.
As for Saemus - I agree, that's confusing. At first I thought that, maybe, this secondary quest is obligatory, but it doesn't seem that way and the Keep allows us to make a choice....
The ISS is pretty darn cool. Hope it gets expanded on. I know Varric is the storyteller of the group, and Brian Bloom is as awesome VA, but any chance you could get us a version narrated by Claudia Black too? What does everyone else think? I'd love to hear Morrigan tell the tale.
@DameGrace I think you got most of them, but you forgot that they added morrigan can have a human baby with the warden now, and now wardens who romanced her but didn't so the DR can pass through the eluvian.
Also for me none of the new choices stick
Damn it! I completely forgot to check this worldstate
...
Okay, I enter the Keep with my Fem!Warden who is Al's queen as the default worldstate, but it seems the Keep had decided to go all merry on me and switched one of the choices to "Warden had baby with Morrigan". Which is cool and biologically impossible. And now it wants me to to change it to "no baby", "Al dead", "Anora the queen"... gosh, why do you hate me so much?!
Is it because of all ravaging?
Okay, I agreed and redid the parts, and yes - the new choices that I thought "stick" don't stick, but they don't stick the unusual way: only when I log out/close the page. Usually, if the choices don't stick, they don't stick after I change worldstates. Now their life expectancy is a bit longer. Which is an improvement. But it only concerns the new choices, not the new outcomes to the old quests.
I checked the "human baby" choice and it sticks and doesn't conflict with other choices.
So is anyone loving the yolo button, cause I sure am! ![]()
The choice may make the Warden and Hawke seem a little random but as I look at the choices I can picture just who that warden/hawke could have been like. Like in one such version I had a Male cousland that romanced Morrigan and even had a OGB with her, yet stabbed her during Witch Hunt. It seemed rather tragic but he also ended up marrying Anora and rules Ferelden so I like to think 'that' had some kind of factor in it.
I have noticed some inconsistanies showing up while using the yolo button, anyone else having the same issue?

Like conflicting choices? Can you give an example?
I had noticed that yolo almost never gives my protagonists romances. Yolo button is forever alone ![]()
One such example that came up was a Male Aeducan that romanced Alistair but one touch of the morrigan baby options switched a bunch of choices. So the yolo button could be hit or miss.
Oh I got an even better one, Loghain had an OGB with morrigan, he died killing the archdemon, Alistair did the killing blow, he became king while the Warden is his mistress and he remained a Gray Warden and the Warden is still a male Aeducan ![]()
I see everyone talking about the randomize button, but I can't find it anywhere. Not like I'm going to use it for one of my world states or anything (I like to be in control), I just like knowing where everything is.
Great compilation of issues there, DameGrace
However, I'd like to just add:
4. Stone Prisoner - Amalia and Kitty (creepy skeleton kitty!). Surprisingly, this choice sticks.5. Awakening - Oghren and Felsi. The choice sticks, but it doesn't conflict with Oghren's recruitment, i.e. you may not recruit Oghren, but still reunite him with Felsi.6. DAII - Companions - Cullen's friendship with Hawke, whatever this means. The choice sticks.
None of these choices stick on my end. They do for a minute or so, but if you leave the page, then come back these all go back to default.
Also, with the Marjolene decision I noticed that you can set it to "Leliana sent her away" even if you have "Warden never recruited Leliana" set. ![]()
"Hawke and Cullen were friends"
No idea what that entails.
I was a pro-mage mage, but can't remember having any significant interactions with Cullen that indicated I had a certain disposition towards him.
Is this a side with Templars exclusive thing?

Yeah, I'd noticed this already. Only new outcomes for old choices stick. A pity.
Now I really feel for the developers. Guys and gals, you have my eternal gratitude and imaginary cookies for all the work you are doing ![]()
Imagine the usual working day in the Keep developers' office. Post-it notes everywhere. Large posters on the wall: "In Dragon Age Keep, the Dragon kills You!". "DA Keep: defying laws of biology since 2014". "What doesn't kill the high dragon, will not kill the high dragon." The atmosphere of desperation. Now imagine going through all the feedback....
