"Hawke and Cullen were friends"

 

No idea what that entails.

 

I was a pro-mage mage, but can't remember having any significant interactions with Cullen that indicated I had a certain disposition towards him.

 

Is this a side with Templars exclusive thing?

 

I'm not sure what the intention is with it but I'm sort of taking it to mean "did you bother to talk with him?" since a lot of his dialogue is optional. While there are some dialogue differences with him depending on whether you side with mages or templars he still seems pretty friendly in both situations.

They've put Nathaniel in the Origins companion section, Oghren in the Awakening section, and there's no option to say "I recruited Oghren in Origins but didn't make him a Grey Warden in Awakening." He was a great character in DA:O, but a total ass in Awakening, so I think it's best not to reward him for his deadbeat behavior.

I see everyone talking about the randomize button, but I can't find it anywhere. Not like I'm going to use it for one of my world states or anything (I like to be in control), I just like knowing where everything is.

When you click on the name of your world state (top right) and it brings up your profile menu, click on your world state again it should bring up serveral icons and one very large red EXPORT TO DA INQUISITION

The symbols from left to right are:

Eye=Select World State
Play icon=Play Varric Narration of that World State/ISS
Square with Right Arrow=Share World State with Friend
Globe with Clockwise arrows=YOLO (randomize button)
Circle with horizontal line=Delete World State
Lock Icon=Lock World State so nothing can be edited (not even in the ISS)

I have problem with the newest choices. I can't change them as it was with the HIght Dragon (DA2). I change it, logout and when login that choices back to normal as "not encountered". Anyone have the same problem? Or it's just me?

And i hope that they allow us to choose if we made Velanna and Sigrun a Gray Warden. I miss them ;_;

The Cullen choice is essentially a hidden ''what should Cullen think of Hawke in DAI?'' question. Do with that as you will.

Question, under the question of Morrigan having a baby, how could Morrigan have a human baby with the warden? I've never heard of this option before.

Oh I got an even better one, Loghain had an OGB with morrigan, he died killing the archdemon, Alistair did the killing blow, he became king while the Warden is his mistress and he remained a Gray Warden and the Warden is still a male Aeducan

 

I think you win . Maybe Alistair stabbed Loghain while he was killing the Archdemon?

 

The YOLO button is great fun, although I don't plan to use it for anything. (I've got more world states than there are slots in the Keep already, and eight is enough to import into Inquisition. Probably.)

Sleep with her on her romance path, but don't do the Dark Ritual. Morrigan's pregnant, but with a regular human baby.

 

My YOLO button is no fun. No romances for me, only slaughter and despair.... I wanted to create the darkest possible world state, and it seems YOLO decided to aid me in this.

Male warden romancing Morrigan while ruling with King Alistair who stayed with the wardens while Logain is alive. It was all over the damn place!

Is the YOLO button supposed to randomize the Origin hero as well?

The worst thing I've gotten the YOLO button to do so far is make a human noble who didn't recruit dog. Maybe I need to switch Wardens and see if I get buggier results ...

 

ETA: turns out the secret to making things go impressively wrong is picking a default Warden and letting the Keep randomise their details. (It doesn't seem to do that if you have a custom Warden selected to begin with, or at least it didn't for me.) I just got a world state where Alistair stayed in the Wardens and in a relationship with the hero, only the hero died killing the Archdemon, and Alistair was also the king and married to Anora, and the Warden wasn't romancing Alistair in the first place.

 

My thirst for entertaining bugs is temporarily sated.

Okay, report time. I had obliterated cookies and cache (Chrome was kicking and screaming during the process, but I had endured); loged out and loged in. I only have default Wardens/Hawkes (no sync); I'm using PC. 

 

New functions:

 

1. ISS - omygoshthisissocooool. But I'd noticed a couple of things:

• If the worldstate is locked, then the ISS sometimes behaves odd
• Needs pause. The only way to pause it now is to click Edit button when it appears
• Needs possibility to play only DAO or DAII part
• In DAII part, the very beginning, Aveline is named "family friend". Which she was not
• During Prologue for DAII part the pictures for mercenaries/smugglers are switched, though Editing your choice works correctly

2. Randomizing world state: as of now works fine, seemingly without conflicting choices

 

New choices (none of them stick):

1. DAO - Companions - Flemeth Grimoire. Doesn't stick in any WS, even if locked.  

2. Denerim - Goldanna _{whom I renamed Colganna in the first version of the post}. Doesn't stick, and for some reasons doesn't conflict with other choices, even though meeting Goldanna is obligatory for hardening Alistair, and in turn obligatory for becoming his queen.

 

 

You don't have to harden Alistair to become his queen. My Cousland did that. You only have to harden him to become his mistress.

I have a problem with my character upload. The Keep recognizes I have played the game (DAO&DA2) but it doesnt upload achivements. They are blank - 0 points.

Ok, so it seems I had my DAO activated on Origin, but the old site, does not see I am the owner - the code from Origin is invalid it says D: WHAAA???

Well, probably (I know about mistress part, but all of my Couslands either didn't romance him or became his queen), but even then the Keep allows me to make Warden his mistress while not encountering Goldanna (and hardening him).

Oh my. I wouldn't say that the problems with the random button are restricted to default heroes. I just had a state with a female Cousland (my own char) who had a kid with Mardy from the Dwarf noble origin, another (human) kid with Morrigan and is still alive.

The ISS thinks the warden is a male dwarf. It's a mess (but funny).

 

Also a question regarding Hawke:

Default male warrior Hawke was selected by random button, but Bethany dies and never sees Kirkwall. Has anyone a similar problem?

It seems YOLO sometimes creates inconsistent worldstates, but the problem of same-class Hawke and sibling was there even before the update. I recall being able to create mage Hawke with Bethany surviving Lothering. Does the choice stay even after you change worldstates/close/refresh the page?

After refreshing 2 times, Hawke was changed into the fitting class.

 

Edit: I take it back. Another world state with the same problem, this time mage Hawke and Bethany alive. It won't change.

Yep, this sometimes happens with the accidental conflicts. Sometimes you need to reload, sometimes it changes back after you go to another part of the Tapestry. It may be worth mentioning in the feedback (the conflicts, not the stealthy correction of them), though I think the devs are aware of these conflicts by now.

So my characters haven't uploaded properly to the BSN. I deleted them as they were corrupted and I have retained my save files on a separate HDD. How can I add them to my BSN without getting errors? I've tried loading the saves up and the profiles upload to the BSN but they're missing portraits and story XML's.

 

I thought hanging onto my saves would work out in the end but now I'm losing hope :<

 

Edit: It would be nice if we could manually upload characters to the BSN. That would solve this issue...

Is anyone else sad that the High Dragon is not in the new Keep choices? We have the Bone Pit dragon to choose whether or not we killed, but not the High Dragon outside of the Gauntlet. That had serious repercussions on future pilgrimages if you let that dragon live, I'm really surprised it isn't there. I'd love to see it included in the Urn of Sacred Ashes area.
