While we're at it: Morrigans ritual. It's not a big issue, but...
The texts all read "after the blight, Morrigan performed the dark ritual with x". Wouldn't it be better to say "in the night before the last battle" or something? It was technically not after the blight, right?

 
It was one of the many textual errors I reported.


Hmm, Leliana telling DA:O and Varric telling DAII? I would love that!


Ooh I actually really like this idea. However, I think that might alter the currently fluid flow of the ISS. It also would have no significance for new fans to the franchise. If they start out hearing Corinne Kempa it might seem odd to suddenly switch to Brian Bloom, especially if the new player has no idea who these voices are, what they mean for each game, and why they were chosen in the first place.

Hope they add a mention of romances and companions, the narration suffers without them and the companions (can be) a critical part of the game

They said on the Twitch Q&A that the YOLO button changes all decisions regardless if your choices are locked or not. The problem might be that you shouldn't lock your choices in the first place when you use YOLO. The Keep probably got errors because of the locks so they need to debug that definitely so your choices are unlocked when YOLO.

Well, I first used it on a world I'd been playing around with, didn't realize that anything was locked. The choices still changed, but showed locked. I agree that YOLO should auto-unlock all choices.

I see what you mean about new players. My thinking was that it seems kinda off (to me, at least) the way it transitions from DA:O to DAII. Doesn't really flow well IMO

Hi all, I was working on one of my world states and noticed -- for the question on Morrigan having her baby -- that there is a new option (without an image yet) that says 'Morrigan had a human baby with the Warden'. This is not the same choice as 'Morrigan had an old god baby with the Warden', which is also an option for that question.

 

So can anyone explain what that is about (or where that option even occurs?)? I feel like I missed something in relation to the romance. I did romance Morrigan with a Male Cousland Warden but probably didn't pay as much attention to the ins and outs of the relationship as with Zev and Alistair, seeing as this was clearly a surprise to me.

If you sleep with Morrigan, but don't do the dark ritual, you get a regular baby.

So I've recently been looking at the Keep for redundant choices that could be condensed in order to make space for more choices, here are the ones I've come up with:

-Recruiting Sten/Recovering Sten's sword
-Recruiting Wynne/Wynne's fate
-Help Redcliffe prepare/Help Redcliffe Fight

-Encounter Mardy/Mardy's Son (this one is an edge case for me)
-Shale Alive/Shale Recruited

-Bethany's Fate/Bethany Killed in the Final Battle

-Recruiting Isabella/Isabella Returning

-Merrill staying with Hawke/Merill's fate

-Saemus/Ginnis

-Zervan/Nuncio

 

Anyone have any other ideas? Was considering the Bartrand tiles, but I think they work fine as is.

​P.S. If you agree on condensing any of these be sure to submit them as feedback.

I've seen it mentioned by other people, and I know I've seen it with some of the options (can't remember all of the new options so I haven't checked all of them). They should already know about it, but reporting it is probably the best idea just to be sure.

Flemeths Grimoire , Oghren & Felsi and Alistairs "Sister" Goldanna are the ones that reset currently.

Also friendship with Cullen ( or rivalry ). At least for me.

 I would choose a choice then lock it, but next time I log in, the tile would revert to the default tile it was on.

For example I would go to the "Did the Warden find Flemeth's Grimoire for Morrigan?" and choose "Acquired Grimoire by defeating Flemeth" and I would lock it.

Next time I log in the choice reverts back to "Did not acquire the Grimoire". This happens across all my World States.

 

Here a list of the tiles, I found where this happens

  • Did the Warden find Flemeth's Grimoire for Morrigan?
  • Did the Warden help Alistair track down his half-sister Goldanna?
  • Did Leliana have Marjolaine killed or let go?
  • What was the fate of Kitty and Amalia?
  • did Oghren re-unite with his child and Felsi?
  • Edit: What was the relationship between Hawke and Cullen?

Edit: "looked above my post " I'm not the only one then. That's good.

Also noticed that Bethany and Carver are kinda of broken. They recognized that both can't be alive, but they don't recognize that Hawke's class needs to be changed into order for one of them to be alive.

For example, the Hero is a mage Hawke, and I try to make Bethany a Circle mage. The solver alerts me that Carver's status needs to change and but never alerts me to change my Hawke either to a warrior or a rogue.

Shouldn't it be more didn't encounter, gave money, or didn't give money? If it needs 3 choices, I mean. The first and last seem kinda redundant. Or maybe it's just me....

Or maybe just 2: tracked down or didn't.

I think the first is if you never got the quest in the first place. And the second one is if you tell Alistair you didn't have time for it.

Nah, the choice to kill or leave alone the High Dragon at the Urn of Sacred Ashes was never a Keep choice to begin with. At least, not since I've been on the beta, which has been since late July.

 

Which I, too, found interesting since it seemed to impact pilgrims if you left the dragon alive there.

Ugh. I swear Isabela is trolling me! I keep setting M!Hawke to romance her, and EVERYTHING conflicts with it. Even changing my warden!? Went so far as auto-changing my Hawke to female! Did I miss something? Is anyone else having trouble with her?

*Finally got it to work by setting no romance, making all other choices, and THEN setting romance.

Yeah, lately the conflict solver is being totally weird about things that don't need solving. I think this latest update was super glitchy for some reason.

I also remember that you could kill Genitivi to keep the Ashes safe or keep him alive.  I have suggested this.  Since it makes an appearance (small) in Dragon Age 2. Also, not killing the High Dragon.  It'll still be at the temple during the peace talks.  Just have to wait and see. XD

Yup, I think it is known but report it anyway.

If you defiled them the Ashes explode or something.

The syncing is down which is why the choices keep resetting.

I don't think that is what is what it is because other choices save fine. The bug is related specifically to the new tiles and not synching being down.

 

They probably just buried the remains of the bone pit dragon in the new tiles to keep it from coming back resulting in them refusing to change. :P

my choices were sticking till the syncing went down, once it did they started resetting
