Even if not taken at face value, Anders would have less fond memories of the Warden (think rivalry vs. friendship). Retconning specific events doesn't necessarily mean erasing the spirit of them (see: Leliana "dying" at the urn).

This is a special case. Killing Leliana doesn´t mean that she is dead but the killing intention from the warden still happened

Anders handled over the Templer or not is different. Anders is always a Grey warden, meet Justice and left the Amaranthine Wardens

at some undefined time after the Mother fight and this no matter what the player do.

This event with handled over the Templer never happened in the Storyline. Best example for other media is Dallas and Bobby Ewing Dream.

Not true. I believe you fight Loghain but with your party so it's not a duel.

I think you actually do both. You fight Loghain+his supporters and afterwards you duel him. The duel is required otherwise we would see a tile saying "No one dueled Loghain" or "Party killed loghain"

I don´t think so. In DA 2 Xebenkeck didn´t care if Gaxkang was killed or not. Why should it be different this time?

That's not what I meant. These monsters are important and related to each other. And our heroes keep killing them off. It sounds hella suspicious and it could become a bigger story line in the future. If they get added in later it becomes kind of spoilery. Best to include Gaxkang and Xebenkeck now.

It really depends on how it's handled in more specific retconning. Anders could have been returned to the templars, then escaped back to the Wardens before the merging with Justice.

You're probably right though that this is a choice that will get retconned via avoidance.

They seem to be keeping them as exclusive hard bosses, especially since you can only find them by really trying to find everything. Imo they're no more important than completing the blackstone irregulars quests or chanters board. Any quest that seems too side questly shouldn't make it to the keep. I think DA2 did it best by having main quests, secondary and side. The main and secondary quests should be in the Keep while side shouldn't.

Another example are the upcomming dragons we can fight in DA:I , I hope there isn't a tile saying "I killed all the dragons!"

Semi agree. The 4 Elite Demons shouldn´t be part of the Keep but what is wrong with the last Blackstone Irregulars quest?

I mean the decision who leads the Blackstone Irregulars? The honorable Raelnor Hawking or his ambitious son Taoran Hawkwind?

I know thats only a board quest but the outcome is very interesting. Also after 10 years that could have an impact if we meet

the Blackstone Irregulars again. And that isn´t unlikely they have at least one outpost in Redcliffe. And Redcliffe and the Hinterlands area is in DAI.

They all seem to be interconnected.

What platform(s) are you on? Have you tried the troubleshooting guides?

Yeah, I ran through all the troubleshooting multiple times and got to the point of contacting web site support about it. This specific scenario hasn't been mentioned in the Keep threads, and back in 2012 or whenever tech support told me basically, "Yeah, sorry, we know about it but we're not fixing it because it's not important. Sucks to be you."

The problem seems to stem from the fact that I originally played DA:O natively on a Mac, and later switched to playing it on the PC and bought a new version of the game for that. The problem also occurs if you play on a console and then PC, or whatever; from what I understand the important thing is playing two different purchases of the game using the same BSN ID.

I brought it up here because I can definitely see this being a huge pain in the ass when the Keep launches to the public, if the frequency of this problem is as high as the impression that I got from the tech support people I talked to.

(Insert Pep Talk) Hey now! Your Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor can handle any dragon. One has to kill all the dragons in every DA game, no? Hence the name of the franchise.

"Respect the Dragon, kill the Dragon" (meaning High Dragon)

You're right, I don't recall seeing Mac/PC issues mentioned elsewhere in the forum - usually it's console/PC problems.

This should be covered by the ongoing syncing fixes, so fingers crossed that they'll get resolved soon!

I can see one specific dragon making it as a title but the last two DA games only had one high dragon each, this one seems to have 13 O__o so it just seems more gameish and less story-like?

No one is really sure what that choice means other than it probably will influence how he talks about Hawke in DAI. I'm interpreting it as did you talk with him every act personally. *shrug*

but he always help u fight Meredith right? No matter who u supported?

Yes? That has nothing to do with the tile though. He goes against Meredith out of duty because she is clearly insane, not because he likes Hawke.

. Any quest that seems too side questly shouldn't make it to the keep.

I think it depends what they are going for.  For an example take Mass Effect.  I played multiple playthroughs and imported my games each time.  Loving it the entire way!  Then my PC died, and I was layed up for a few months.  Because my boys had all the games on the 360 I started playing there.  I started with ME3 because the ending patch had finally come out, and the boys had the interactive comic.  The trouble was so much "flavor" was missing from the game.  Without the import. Conrad Verner did not show up, Parasini and so so many other NPC's, like the couple who was arging about genetic modifications for the baby were missing.  Did these NPC's reflect a major game plot ? No,  I would agree with you there, these side quests did not reflect any major decision, but they were important to me just the same..

After realizing how much I was missing, I quit the ME3 and started at ME1 so I could import and experience all the story lines.  Big and small.  I do not know what the DAI team has in store for us in Inquisition, but I hope that many of the side and aka smaller quests are represented.  Because that was part of my experience too.

so im confused how to know whether he is a friend to me or not in my canon. I suppose since I am pro-Mage (and a Mage), he is not a friend to me.

When I said they shouldn't include side quests, I mean really small fetch quests that they'll have to stretch far to find meaning again in a later game. You used examples from Mass effect, the kinds of quests I'm talking about are the quests like find 16 light metals or all the League of One medallions. Sure those did have a small impact...but a really small one and it's a gameplay impact and not a story one.

What you're mentioning are more like the secondary quests from DA2 and I agree those should be in.

I've been having trouble loading the Keep in the last couple of days. It appears like the Keep is pretty buggy right now.

-It loaded my custom Wardens (yay!) but suddenly it started switching by itself, telling me certain world choices are incompatible (for no reason like for ex. Zevran being recruited, etc), locking the wrong things, etc.

-This happened every time I used a Custom Warden too even though I didn't change anything significant other than pick a custom character instead of a default one (gender, race and class were the same for example). It seemed especially set on thinking I wanted my Warden to have the old god baby, even though my Warden was a female mage and I had Alistair do it :P. It could also be connected to the ISS OR me trying to use my custom characters for the first time. Or maybe the large amount of new players getting in the Keep?

Is the Keep especially buggy for anybody else now?

I have noticed an improvement in the layout for the iOS/mobile version. Instead of the dragonage/dragonage 2 dropdown menu being in the top left, it has been moved to the centre. You are now able to swipe th tiles across properly now, but it is still abit laggy.

It hasn't loaded my Wardens but it's also buggy for me, the ISS was changing my female wardens into males if dark ritual was done and choices that used to not be allowed due to conflict and choices changing without giving the prompt to change it if there's a conflict.

Don't get me started on the Yolo button :P

I wonder if they plan to make any tiles about the awakenings companions or well, more things to do with awakenings in general... Like how they dealt with the conspirators, or if everyone was made a grey warden or died. I know they ask which area we saved, but what about if we maxed the keep fully or not? Somewhat like with how we are asked if we helped Redcliff prepare or not.

It would also be nice if we got something in our email or something that let us know if the team saw our suggestions.... u0u

Saving both the city and the Keep was only possible if you maxed out the Keep. :D

Is anyone else a little worried that if they can't get these bugs fixed in time it may cause the game to get delayed again? Or maybe at least get the Keep release delayed

It may get the Keep delayed a bit, but I seriously doubt they'll delay the game release again. Or maybe that's just because I hate the thought of another delay.  :D

I'm not too worries. The worst case scenario is that they can't get syncing issues completely resolved and they have to temporarily disable when the Keep goes live while they're working on it. Keep in mind that there will still be about a month before DAI release when this happens, so there is still time.

I think the working is unfortunate given the friendship/rivalry mechanic present within DA2. That said, you can still have a certain type of interaction with Cullen based on your dialog options. You can be rude to him or not, and that is how I choose to look at that tile.

I'm not sure if its been said before but every time I log in to the Keep all my choices about Loghain keep getting changed by DA:K coflict detector. I made Loghain a warden, alister left my party but still married anora, had Loghain perform the ritual with morrigan, and my character slayed the archdemon. The conflict detector keeps making me change Loghain to dead from the Ultimate Sacrifice or killed by my Warden in combat. Also  Zevran keeps dieing lol. Is this been an issue for any one else?

There's no real need for it at this point. Thousands of invites went out in this last wave - and that's just the first of many for the remaining beta applicants. It was announced on Monday that the Keep will be open to everyone later this month.

It's sweet to want to pay it forward, though. :)

Yeah, I locked all of the panels, logout, and a few hours later log in and bam; the keep shows me all the choices I need to change before I can even get to the tapestry.
