They say it will be bout by the mid/end of this month. I have a feeling it might be delayed for mobile/iOS possibly. Still some big comparability issues, and apples latest update has made it worse for me. That said the mobile version is working better than before the update.
I'm also having the same issues with loghain as the bother posters have said.
In regards to retcon, I want the female warden to be able to get the ogb.

Read this: http://forum.bioware...our-dao-heroes/
That being said, if you were connected to the internet while playing DAO it's highly likely that they were synced to the BSN. It's not something you have to manually do.
Thanks ![]()
I was aware there were synching things happening, so I am not too fussed, but I would rather like to be able to use a couple of my play-throughs.
TBH, never really occured to me to check BSN, only ever used it to re-install my DLC. *hides*

Anyone who was spoiled by the Russian leak knows what I mean. Damn leakers
You do realise that you just gave a small spoiler about what was spoiled? Might want to edit that out.

Yes, let's please please please keep artbook leak spoilers well marked and under spoiler tags, or preferably completely out of this forum. Some of us are trying our hardest to stay unspoiled, and the beta forums is the last place I'd figure I'd have to avoid for that.
Speaking of Nathaniel, if there was one choice(s) in the Keep that I feel should be retconed it should be allowing us to state that we helped Nathaniel in Act 3 and helped find Yevhen's sons in Act 2 since you only got one quest or the other from a purely game play point of view.
I'll disagree here. Metagame justifications aside, this isn't possible within the boundaries of the game, so it shouldn't be possible within the Keep. Retconning this would open precedent for people asking for things like recruiting Loghain but keeping Alistair in the Wardens, being a mage but keeping Bethany alive etc, because they can justify it with headcanon. Then the game would have to react to such scenarios, and we'd go back to where we were with DA2, where you could have completely contradicting events happening at the same time because your save was a mess and the game was reacting to all the wrong triggers.

That's why I said within reasonable bounds, something like Loghain and Alistair wouldn't make sense because there's a story reason why Alistair leaves, that would go so far as to change his character and add a history that wasn't possible before. (Alistair warden and Loghain Warden at final battle)
You could argue Bethany's case but her dialogue hints too much that she's the only mage in her family (in the universe where she survives) so more story reasons why it wouldn't work.
I guess the kinds of plots I'm purposing are really plots that were hindered because of gameplay elements or , I don't expect the devs to do this, but would be interesting. Then again it also severely limits the kinds of quests I'm inquiring over, even I'm having trouble finding another example of what I mean. That might be the only one. ![]()

After logging in and out I've noticed that there's a change in some tiles (Who killed the Archdemon, Leliana left instead of being alive and well etc) but I guess that's a known issue
Also a female warden who had an OGB would have been interesting. Talk about magic ritual.
And yet, I somehow can't convince the Keep that Loghain did the Ritual so that he lives AND killed the Archdemon so that my squishy mage Warden could run off into the Antivan sunset with Zevran.

So what happened to the black ritual where you have a child with morgain so the warden can live and kill the archdemon and everything be ok? I cant seem to make that work I dont see an option for the ritual... if I missed it can somone tell me where?

How do you switch between world states?
Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out.

The ritual will be under Companions -> Morrigan. It's one of the last tiles in the Companions tapestry, and only asks whether you had a baby with Morrigan or not, it doesn't nominally mention a ritual scratch that the wording's been changed to specify the ritual now.

Right I found that however my warden or logain or alistair must die.... which should not happen if I had the baby with Morgain

Have you tried locking a few of the choices? Sometimes the logic solver needs some help. I have this playthrough with I think three out of the five states I've made so far (Morrigan having OGB and Alistair and Warden surviving) so it is possible. If you keep having troubles, clear your cache/cookies, try again. More troubles? Log it and submit feedback. Also, try it on Chrome first. That seems to be the browser that works best so far.

wow i feel stupid, I was having issues with hearing the video in the keep, turns out apparently firefox can glitch out sometimes and the volume (such as cloud music and the keep apparently) might mute in noise and I was trying everything to make it work, now it does work nowXD
Also that's not supposed to happenXD;; especially if morrigan had the baby...
Speaking of morrigan, it turns out that apparently my female warden can impregnate morriganXDD because magicXDDD

Did they stop allowing us to visit the Keep? I no longer have access.

There were some login issues earlier. Maybe try logging in in incognito mode?

I'm on Opera and can't seem to find incognito mode. Is that the solution?
When I go to dragonagekeep.com - I'm met with this:

Update: Ok, so I can log in if I use Chrome. I just never use Chrome, so I had to attempt that. It always worked on Opera, but not anymore, heh.

Right, sorry, incognito mode is Chrome-based! I meant to specify that somewhere in there.
Opera may not have refreshed yet, but since you haven't been in through Chrome before, it loaded up a fresh version for you.
Mission accomplished!

Okay. This may seem like a very funny question, but is the Keep or the whole pre-game scenario choices the only part of this beta? It's beautiful with the artwork and very interesting at the amount of choices (which makes me wonder), but is that the complete part of this beta? I thought perhaps there was some testing of the game mechanics and such.
I've done reading, but perhaps I overlooked something and maybe just totally skipped something. It just seems odd that this would be the only need for beta testers. Don't get me wrong, the pre-game choices is really good aside from some issues with getting everything set perfectly before game. It's the most detailed thing I've ever seen. I guess the best comparison could be like Mass Effect 3, which doesn't compare one bit. And that's just one role combined with three games. This is on a total different level.
I just feel like I'm missing something.

You're missing the months of work that went into the Keep getting into this state in the first place. ![]()
Plus we have to make sure everything fits together right. If things are working correctly, then it's all invisible! But that doesn't take away from the massive amount of effort put in to get things to that point.
There's a lot of fact-checking as well as autosolver conflicts and such that needed testing - and now there's the ISS too. Plus the well-known syncing issues and checking multiple devices for compatibility as well as making sure the Keep runs fast enough on all of them.
Lots to do! We're just not seeing all of the work that goes on behind the scenes.

I understand. I don't mean to dismiss any work involved. As I said, I'm very impressed with the work I've seen. It's a lot more than I could have ever expected. I did spend a lot of time going through each individual choice to customize a perfect setting for a great start to my DA:I adventure. I would have posted issues that I had come across, but reading many threads, I noticed everything I had an issue with had already been addressed.
My concern was that perhaps I was missing something and was not able to access part of the testing. If the options for the pre-game part of DA:I is the only thing available, then so be it. I have no complaints. I just assumed there was more. There has been more video coverage on DA:I than DA:O and DA2 combined and then some. My guess was that we'd be testing out mechanics, glitches and such. Especially since we're so close to release date. We all know how Playstation and Xbox go about the patches after a game release. With fanbase testers, this could cut down on the surprise factor. Perhaps they have that covered. All is good.

I tried to save a world state but I was unable to name it (couldn't type in the box). Is this a Keep issue or maybe a browser issue? I am using IE 11.
It also apparently did not save any of the choices I made (even though I locked them as I picked them). When I went back to the first tile, it was defaulted to Dalish elf even though I had locked in female human noble. All the tiles looked like they were back to default. I didn't log out or leave the Keep at any time while making choices.
Edit: I figured out what happened. Somehow I made all the selections using the "default world state" slot instead of a "new world state" slot and that is where they got saved. Once I figured that out, renaming it was no problem.
