I just remembered. I never got around to trying this in Origins myself, but isn't there an option to side with the templars without killing all the mages? If you save them all but agree with Cullen's ramblings to Greagoir, I heard that results in Greagoir imprisoning the mages to figure out the truth and templars join your army. If that's true then it sounds like it should be a recognized option in the Broken Circle section.

 

Or would the "Side with Templars/Irving Survived" combo cover that?

Is it a valid world state to have a male warden have a *human* baby with Morrigan and remain alive, with Alistair dying against the Archdemon? I've never played that particular scenario out. Didn't even know it was possible to have a human baby with Morrigan.

He would have to, wouldn't he? Lothering is destroyed after you complete one treaty mission.

So I have a problem: I deleted my sister's only DA:O character's saves to make room on my 360 because she's not a big gamer and I didn't think she would care...

But after seeing how awesome Inquisition looked in the trailers I showed her, she said she definitely wants to play the game.

It seems as though the only thing the Keep really imports is the "profile pic", gender, race, and class of your Warden... Nothing else. So I suppose I could just try to re-create her character (I remember what she looked like) without her knowing the imposter Warden never even made it to Ostagar... (Before anyone asks, no, her DA:O warden was never uploaded to BSN (not sure why, to be honest, but neither was my first DA:O warden... I think it was because I didn't have an Origin/BSN account at the time? (if that's even possible)))

But the thing is, her Grey Warden performed the ultimate sacrifice and she started Awakening with a new Orlesian Warden Commander (whose save file was imported into DA:2)... After exploring around in the Keep, it doesn't seem like it gives you an option to upload a Warden AND a Warden Commander anywhere...

Could I just skip uploading a Warden at the beginning and use her Warden Commander instead, while manually selecting all the decisions she made?

Sorry if I rambled... I'm just worried my sister will get mad that I deleted her beloved Warden (even though it doesn't really matter, since I can recreate her exact choices and it's not like the Warden will appear in Inquisition....)

Is anyone else having problems renaming their World States? Is this bugged, or merely turned off? Am I the only one with the issue?
If it's truly a bug, has it been reported?

I had this problem yesterday. Haven't tried today yet to see if anything is different. I could save the world state, but was unable to rename it until I logged out and logged back in.

Edit: Still having this problem. Was also unable to save a partially created world state (game still in progress for that one). I couldn't rename it, but I saved it (or thought I had). When I logged back in, everything was back to default. Also having an issue where I change my world state description, resave and relock, but the changes are undone the next time I select that world state.

When I said they shouldn't include side quests, I mean really small fetch quests that they'll have to stretch far to find meaning again in a later game. You used examples from Mass effect, the kinds of quests I'm talking about are the quests like find 16 light metals or all the League of One medallions. Sure those did have a small impact...but a really small one and it's a gameplay impact and not a story one.

What you're mentioning are more like the secondary quests from DA2 and I agree those should be in.

So I just read the new update about syncing and I want to make sure I understand what its saying. Are they saying they are going to take all the data from Legacy and just put it all into The Keep?

Hey guys new here! I signed into the Keep and it found my DA2 save but it did not find my DA:O save. Curiously I went into BSN to see if the game was there, surely enough DA:O was not! So I went through all those websites above to try and tweak things, even tried enabling developer console. Logged into the game, saved many times, ran around, tried uploading photos and everytime I click on the Online Profile button in game it takes me to a white screen.

 

What gives?

 

Just to let you guys know I am a Steam user, and the email associated with BSN and Origin are the same so I don't know why it can't find my profile!

 

Also I disabled the developer console cause I heard that can cause issues so that isn't the problem either. This whole debacle is giving me a headache! Why cant we just upload our save files?

Whoa I just noticed there is an option for "Morrigan's baby was a result of her relationship with the Warden" so does that mean that if you romanced her, she ends up pregnant no matter what, or is that still the old god baby, just you romanced her or you didn't?

If you romance her, sleep with her, but do not do the Dark Ritual, she will end up pregnant anyhow. Even if you end the romance after sleeping with her and moving onto someone else.

Maybe it's because the map on the main Inquisition website has such lovely music, but I feel like there ought to be the option of some ambient music playing in the background as I click through. No music yet. Only during the ISS. We had discussions on it in the past, however, and at the time it was weighted heavily to no music or music only if you could turn it off/on at your discretion.

Ah, thank you so much for the quick reply! Very sorry as well, lots to catch up on, and a cursory flip through the relevant forums didn't turn up that discussion. I do think it would be a nice touch, but absolutely agree a toggle on/off would need to be in place, too.

No worries. A lot of past discussions are now locked/hidden. You wouldn't necessarily have been able to find it out.

because they have shut it down to read only, they are moving all the character data from the old BSN into the Keep to fix the sync issue

In the Landsmeet option "Who now rules Ferelden?" selecting the "Alistair & Anora rule" seems to have a ripple affect across all my previous choices. A notable one was changing my romance for DAO from Morrigan to Zevran, I think this might be a bug?

Is anyone else getting an issue with the issue with the artwork tiles partially covering the text in the descryption?

 

Also Keran's act 3 quest choice seems to have the artwork tiles for act 3 but the descryption references dialogue specifically from his act 1 quest.

Yeah but only in a few cases. Namely the fate of the Hawke siblings if they became employed in the Circle or the Grey Wardens.

 

I thought the quest was referring to what happens to him after Hawke uncovers his part in Thrask's conspiracy to overthrow Meredith. Although now that you mention it having a "rejoin the Templars" option sounds more like act one. But Act 1 already covers that quest.

I hope the issue regarding The keep and Internet Explorer 9 not working is being looked into because I use my XBox 360s web browser alot more than my PC and right now the Keep is a no go on it I am keeping my fingers crossed.
