Concerning Witch Hunt:

Does the option "didn't go through the eluvian" assume that you actually found Morrigan? My warden chose to respect Morrigan's request and never pursued her, which in the real world means I didn't play Witch Hunt in this particular playthrough. Or even if I didn't play Witch Hunt, is it assumed the events from Witch Hunt always took place?

So the keep doesn't import any of the decisions from DA:O or DA2, just the appearance and class of you heroes?

Eh hey guys. I've been having this problem for quite some time now and it's that I can't proceed to keep at all. Whether it's incognito mode, deleted cookies, different browser. It just keeps telling me "Something went wrong" which is quite odd.. Any help?

Yes that's right, the Keep only imports the basics of your hero (name, gender, race, class, portrait). You have to manually input your decisions.

So the panels to the right of the hero information are just random?

You mean the tiles like Companions, Prologue and such ? I think they're preset rather than randomized, but if you want the Keep to reflect your choices you need to set them yourself.

I've noticed that my uploaded Warden from the end of Witch Hunt never uploads a story xml. Could that affect the sync? I don't have a problem importing from an Awakenings completion, just wanted to bring it up. I haven't finished my latest Awakening play, when I upload that Warden I'll check back if I have the same diagnostic warning.

Shouldn't, as I have successful imported my character from Witch Hunt into the Keep.

Correct.

They're not random. If you look at the list of world states on the right there is a Default World State and that is used as the base when you start in the Keep. You can then change those choices and rename the world state to something else.

I think at this point it assumes that you did the quest. Unlike with Sebastian and tallis where you can say you didnt encounter them

You know there is a big Faq that talks about imports, plus the Q&A video

I have a question that not pertains the Keep in a strict sense but the BSN game profiles that are read in the keep.

I was one of those whose DAO characters didn't import in the keep. Browsing through the forum I found a possible list of causes and tried to see if I could make it work on my own, so I started experimenting with DAO (the "load-resave" trick, the "load-unequip-save-equip-resave" trick, the "load-resave-upload a screenshot" trick, etc., I even tried to synch all version of one same character in the four campaigns of DAO/DAA/GOA/WH...) until yesterday I decided to delete all characters from the BSN and try to upload a newer warden (brand new game) and an old warden on a new playthrough (my canon warden on a brand new Witch Hunt campaign).

Now, yesterday the characters were deleted and disappeared from my profile, then I waited the / hours for synching the online profile with the game and everything appeared to be fine: on the BSN I had the two mages I wanted but alas no synching with the keep yet.

This morning I checked again on the Keep and tried to synch my newly synched Hawke I was playing last night, when the Keep magically imported my Wardens....

ALL my wardens. Even those I had deleted yesterday.

Now, I'm not sure what did the trick that let the keep import my wardens, but I was quite perplexed about the "undelete" of the other wardens. They now appear AGAIN on the DAO profile of the BSN even if they don't have any file loaded. I als tried deleting the chache, but theyì're still there and I have no means to delete them (I'd like to remove some of them since are multiple copies of the same warden).

And I'm wondering... "What the Fade happened?" Any ideas?

I didn't go through such a complicated process as you, EwanAmell, but yes, some of my Wardens that hadn't synced before showed up today - including one I deleted from my profile last week - but not all of them. I figure they're working on it and we shouldn't worry too much.

Thanks, Threeparts, and yes, I like to do things the complicated way... XD

What does the "did you approve of Anders' actions" flag actually refer to? Is it only about friendship/rivalry, or is it one dialogue choice at the beginning of The Last Straw?

I was wondering the same thing. it's not connected to the kill/spare Anders decision so it's not really clear (to me, at least) what it refers to.

I think it refers to if you don't kill him or send him away, and have that final talk with everyone right before the battle. I think one of the dialogue choices was that you didn't agree with what he did. I'm not sure, though....

Are we seeing all the decisions that have made it into the Keep so far?

If so that means we definitely won't be seeing Vellana or the Awakening Dwarves in Inquisition :(

The Alistair's Mistress flag may indeed be bugged. Just the other day I came across an oddity where if you set Alistair as the romance option, then set his fate as becoming a wandering drunk, the only option that flag will allow is "remained Alistair's Mistress".

Admittedly that's not a direct contradiction so much as an implied one, but it may throw up a few logic problems in-game. (And yes, I did submit this as a bug. ;) )

Really? I tried 'Alistair Romance' and 'Exiled drunk' and the Keep would only allow 'they remained Grey Wardens' for the second Alistair choice, which is quite contradictory.

I pretty much thought it was in regards to that star choice you get after the chantry goes boom. Hawke says she/he'd have understood if Anders had just told her/him about it. To which Sebastian gets all pissy.

I took it as a code for friendship/rivalry like Merrils Eluvian, but maybe i'm reading too much into it. I hope its not referenced in Inquisition exactly as its stated in the keep, because some of my Hawkes liked Anders mage-freedom-agenda, but none thought blowing up the Chantry was a good idea...

Renata said they're adding more options for Awakening:

"It sure is! We're also adding the option for you to save both the Keep and Amaranthine in Awakening (among others)."

That's what I guessed too, I just wasn't too sure about the approving bit. Because if I have to consider it literally it's another thing entirely.

That's the first thing I did, but I wanted to read some other opinions and insights as well, so I thought I'd bring it up here. :)

It means exactly what is said: Did Hawke approve of Anders's actions at the Chantry?

Since DA2 was released there has been endless talk about Anders's choice to blow up the Chantry. Some players have expressed frustration at not being able to stop him. Others have bemoaned the inability to help him (or at least that he doesn't let you knowingly help him.) You can certainly let Anders live even if you disapprove of this act, so it doesn't necessarily have to be tied to that choice.

So, do you think Anders was right to blow up the Chantry, yes or no?

Alright, then I was definitely overthinking it. Thanks for the clarification!

Ahh. I kind of don't like this even though I always upgrade the Vigil. It seems like a 'have your cake and eat it too' option. But if more options makes more people happy then so be it.
