My question are mainly about how certain companions don't factor into Major plots like they should Oghren is not in the origins companion tapestry at all, nor mentioned during the paragon of her kind section even though he was rather important to both. Nathaniel Howe is listed in origins even though he doesn't make his appearence till awakening. Shale although a DLC companion has some rather important backstory related to the Anvil of the void and also isn't brought up during that quest line. Then there is the fact aside from Oghren NONE of the other awakening companions are listed in that section of the tapestry, I just feel these are some glaring omissions from the overall story.
To be fair, aside from Anders and to a lesser extent Nathaniel, none of the character companions in Awakening really have much of an impact on the story post Awakening. Nathaniel has a tile (though I agree with you that its position should probably be in the Awakening section), and Anders is canonically both made into a Grey Warden and survives in order for almost all the important events of Dragon Age 2 to even happen, so giving people the option to say Anders died, or was never recruited or whatever you might have done differently doesn't really make much sense.
...On the other hand, you could make the same argument towards letting us say if Leliana lived or died. So...eh.
