I'm sorry if this is already a topic, I did a search and couldn't find one.

So I'm new here, and I'm curious to know everyone's opinion on Tallis. Do you think she'll make an appearance in Inquisition? Do you WANT to see her again?

I thought she was pretty cool in Mark of the Assassin... although her character model seemed a little rushed and sloppy. I'm sure she would look a lot better on the new engine.

I, for one, would like to see her make a return, even if it's only for a single mission. I thought there could have been a possibility of her being a party member before the official list was announced. Any word on if Felicia Day has made a trip to the recording studio for this game?

I don't really want her to appear, but she probably will since there was a ton of foreshadowing in the DLC.

I don't think she has much reason to turn up, and even less reason to interact with the Inquisition as the Qun already has a agent within it, and her being pro Qun would definitely conflict with IB who as others have said is questioning it. Who knows though anything is possible, maybe a DLC with her returning could pop up, but I hope if she does, they dial back on her awesomeness, and easy lover status.

She probably won't show up. If the Exalted March expansion had gone ahead, she might have appeared there. But given the somewhat negative reception to Tallis, they probably won't bother bringing her back.

FD has not done any voice recording for DAI that I know of.

I hope she gets at least a mission but has a reasonably large role.

I could see her playing a part, because she and Iron Bull may have a history. Tallis is a member of the Ben-Hassrath, and so was Iron Bull. In fact, Iron Bull still sends reports to the Ben-Hassrath, so there is a possibility of her becoming directly involved.

Personally I love Tallis and would love to see her make an appearance but I doubt she will show up!

I'll admit I'd be interested in interacting with her with a Qun-hating Vashoth Inquisitor.

If there's a really good reason, then sure, otherwise no. I'm not really a fan of past characters reappearing unless they have unresolved story arcs.

I think we are going to see her again. i mean it seems Felicia Day is still close with bioware so i don't know why they wouldn't invite her to be tallis again.

I loved Tallis and I would be very excited if she came back!

I'd be a lot more optimistic if Tallis was a male.  That way, she'd appear once and we'd never have to be nauseated by her again.  As it is, we're probably going to be amazed by her brilliance over and over.  She's got a long way to go before she can compete with Leliana for the coveted "character I'd most like to kill" spot.  I'm hoping I can encounter her in an Orlesian cell, and leave her there.

It would be interesting if through a companion quest, we break IB away from the qun but in response to this, they send Tallis and a squad of other qunari to force him back for "reeducation"

I'd rather never see her again. We don't need more cliche' flirty female rogues. The only interesting thing about her IMO was her unique combat style. Even then, though, where did she get all those knives!?!

I thought she was okay in the DA2 DLC and it wasn't her fault that the writers wrote the DLC as they did, so I cut her some slack with her being awesome and such.

 

So I wouldn't mind seeing her in DA:I or in a new DLC, although she should portray her more down to earth and with less awesomeness, I think.

No thanks. Unless 1) she can be de-Mary Sue'd into a decently balanced character that is not better and smarter than the hero in every single way; 2) she loses the plot armor that makes her even more untouchable and unquestionable than Flemeth; 3) shes loses the cutesy kawaii waifu-chan act; 4) she never ever demeans, mocks and humiliates my companions again; and 5) her appearance does not turn my main hero into a drooling idiot supporting character for her star show; then Tallis can stay gone.
