ISIS has a very real and long list of people they've killed or displaced that makes raising the spectre of how they might affect the gay scene in Lebanon superfluous.
How do we solve it? Beyond bombs and guns it's a Muslim issue. Over and over you hear about the vast "moderate" majority of Muslims, yet I never hear them say anything. In fact, quite the opposite, a new Caliphate seems to be something a lot of Muslims want though they may think ISIS goes about it the wrong way.

Kurds break away Iraq and declare an independent Kurdistan.

I hardly ever hear moderate Christians speak out against their fundamentalist counterparts either. it's a part of being moderate, you know? They don't feel too deeply about those things, those things are ultimately in their holy books and so they just let it slide or shake their head.

Mildly on topic, ISIS wants to setup a Caliphate to follow Sunni law. That particular shoot of Islam isn't overly prejudiced against the LGBTIQ community (at least no more than say the Catholic church, simply more militant about it because they are extremists). Shi'ites are actually more extreme in terms of LGBTIQ prejudice not that extremists anywhere are good, they aren't, just comparing apples with apples.
