A while back, it was confirmed that this game would have a character who would tick off players/fans. But I haven't gotten that impression from any of the companions or characters confirmed to be in the game.

 

Plus, the base-breaker that was Anders is a pretty hard act to follow. (Also, should it be followed?)

 

Is the "enraging" character supposed to be a returning npc like Anora? Leliana? Cullen? One of the newer characters like Josephine? Sera? Vivienne? Iron Bull? Varric? (It can happen)

 

I'm just curious, that's all.

And there's been plenty of anger directed at every character for miscellaneous reasons already.

I have a feeling the hate is going to be spread more evenly this time around depending on your Inquisitors position on things.

If we are talking about characters that anger players I think Cullen fits to describtion most at the moment. I have seen quite many times people hoping that they can kill him off. I don't think he's supposed to be character who angers people from devs point of view though ^^

meh, it wasnt that big of a secret.... plus you dont know how we are going to kill him yet.... (neither do i but thats not the point) and since my rambling about this will usually close a thread, lets get back on topic....

 

i think the character we will have trouble with is viviene, she gives off the im superior in every way vibe.

Cullen along with rest of companions and advisers seems okay for what we know of them.

 

To me it seems like Vivenne or Solas (I don't know why but some reason Solas seems rub me the wrong way when I look at him) will be the characters will more or less "hated", but it's pure speculation, since we haven't really spoken to many of the characters outside Cullen, Leliana, Varric, etc.

I can see this. We were told that companions can leave us, and even betray us, based on our relationship with them. I can see Vivy betraying the Quizzy for her own goals. Heck, maybe it's even a plot point, like Isabella leaving with the Tome. Maybe it only goes in your favour if she really likes you.

Nah, Solas is the Mordin of Dragon Age. Dude should be awesome.

Sadly, we can't kill advisors, so I doubt we can have Cullen kick the bucket.

 

Apart from him however, I don't see any character/companion that would ****** us off so far.

hahahah. Gaider is a great writer but that Leliana stuff is some bullsh*t. Though thinking about it both characters were in a pretty convenient place to be brought back(Urn of Sacred Ashes and demon-thingy)
