your missing 1 specialization in each class, knight enchanter, artificer and champion.

Why repost them if they were shown 6 months ago?

But here you go:

Champion - These powerful defenders protect their allies from harm, standing strong against devastating blows with expert training and fierce determination. Enemies can't kill them—and usually can't survive them.

Artificer - These specialists control the battlefield with deadly traps. Neither they nor their explosive mines are ever where the enemy expects them to be.

Knight Enchanter - These rare mages received special dispensation from the Chantry to serve in battle. They summon blades from the Fade and are experts in protection and defense.

Wow... I was completely wrong about Tempest.  Alchemists that make potions that give them fire or frost auras?  Whaaaa?  :0

Rift mage sounds like fun, I was leaning toward necromancer but now I'm not sure which one to pick for my first playthrough.

Same here.

I am curious about the description of the Necromancer specialization though.

Necromancer

These mages specialize in binding the spirits that are drawn to death. They can put the fear of death into enemies, bring spirits to fight on their behalf, and even cause devastating explosions when their enemies die.

Does this mean that we get to draw specific spirits/demons into corpses to use, or does it mean that we just summon a spirit/demon and not make use of the dead bodies?

In the lore, you would get different types of undead depending on which spirit or demon was possessing the corpse; things ranging from devouring corpses to Reverants; does this mean that we can specialize or upgrade the type of minion we get?

Also, while I do love that Walking Bomb is making a return, I do hope that a zombie suicide bomb is not the only way to utilize your minions. Personally, when I play a minion/pet class, I want to spec my servants to be as tough and strong as possible, not just treat them like semi-intelligent grenades. I hope that the Necromancer specialization allows for such a 'minion army' play style.

Walking bomb is in necromancy?

Just as planned.

Rift Mage is a more spirit-y version of Force Mage? Knight Enchanters are a type of battle mage aligned with the Chantry? Now I'm conflicted. I've heard great things about KE, but I'd like to remain neutral as possible.

Not happy that some of my favourite spells (that have been part of the main spell trees in previous games) are locked away in a specialization. It really seems like Bioware is forcing the player to go elemental for some reason.

Well they said that they wanted to make specializations make more of an impact on your character, rather than just a small addition.

I was unsure about which class I should choose. No more!! Magequisitior here I come. The only question left is human mage or elven mage.

Edit: crap, I just realized that I'm making the warrior inquisitor's armor ......

The others were revealed months ago, but not a bad idea to add them to the OP... I go and edit that in a bit.

I don't really like Tempest.  It feels like a contrived excuse for mechanics, and thematically too close to Artificer.  But other people seem to like it, so whatever.

The Tempest skills? We saw these equipped to Sera.

Well.... Artificer seems more bow friendly while Tempest pretty much requires you join the fray. Though if we're talking thematically, then yeah, you're right.

Well they could have just as easily shifted most of those elemental spells to their own specialization since there's a lot more of them now. Three of our 4 main spell trees are all about fire and ice and lightning.

I'm not really sure how much I'd like Reaver considering all of the restrictions and limitations on healing, but Champion sounds far too defensive for me.  I would go with Templar, but I don't want to have to worry about the Inquisitor becoming "lyrium addled" if they incorporated that back into the spec... hm.... I can't really decide...

As for the other classes, Assassin and Rift Mage stand out as the ones I'd be most interested in.  At least my rogue and mage characters should be easy to plan out...

Sounds like Necromancer is what I thought. A rethinking of the Spirit school in some ways (and nothing blood based, like some think). I bet it will mix up pet corpses and walking bomb.

That seems like an odd combination since she's always been shown with a bow...  perhaps there are some ranged elemental flasks that we don't know about yet.  Or maybe it includes the Bull Rush ability (w/e it was called) from DA2 for hit and run tactics?

I was debating between playing rogue or mage my first run, leaning more toward rogue. I was looking forward to seeing the tempest spec, but wasn't too impressed. Which leaves me with assassin (which is great, but has been in every game). Meanwhile, rift mage and necromancer has impressed me with their awesomeness. Now I'm not leaning towards anything at all, making the choice sooo much harder.

Tempest

These unpredictable experts specialize in using alchemical mixtures that wreathe them in frost or flame. Fast, chaotic, and possibly mad, they wade into the fight and dare enemies to face the storm.

I think this could fit my snarky Dalish Inquisitor nicely. I'm hoping that "fast, chaotic" points to speed buffs.

Knight Enchanter (Mage)

These rare mages received special dispensation from the Chantry to serve in battle. They summon blades from the Fade and are experts in protection and defense.

This reference to the Chantry seems new. Will we be forced to align with the Chantry to gain this specialization?

Perhaps when used with a bow, the aura created through the alchemic flasks adds power to her shots, as well as giving them different elemental abilities.

It is indeed a new one. But perhaps it means that our teacher is a Circle mage who did have to get such dispensation to learn the art.

Well we saw footage of Sera firing exploding/ lightning arrows, so these might be the Tempest abilities.
