im not okay with this because they did it in DA2 and its why we had such cheesy romances in that, because no matter what gender you were the LI all acted like girls when the romances began, and when the inevitable love scenes happened they all made you into the girl. Please god dont let that ever happen again!

Everybody anti-playersexual. Whatever gender and orientation your character is, they'll be the opposite and thus never be interested.

Being I know so little about the characters, I'm fine with how they are. 

 

However, I'd add a few more options:

 

Vivienne- gated towards human males only (for story purposes)

 

Hidden/DLC Female Party Member (Elf or Qunari)- Available to both genders and any race. Points for those looking for an extra f/f romance and straight males who don't want to romance a human woman

 

Varric- gated towards dwarven females only (for story purposes, would be the exclusive dwarf option)

 

I'd also make Solas available to both genders (can still be elves only) so men have a third m/m option too.

 

Would add Dagna as an NPC option for Dwarf Males only

 

Then it would be:

 

Straight Males (All Races, Qunari, Elves)- Cassandra, Josephine, DLC/Hidden Elf/Qunari Lady

 

Straight Males (Humans)- Cassandra, Josephine, DLC/Hidden Elf/Qunari Lady, Vivienne

 

Straight Males (Dwarves)- Cassandra, Josephine, DLC/Hidden Elf/Qunari Lady, Dagna*

 

Straight Females (All Races)- Blackwall, Iron Bull

 

Straight Females (Dwarves)- Blackwall, Iron Bull, Varric*

 

Straight Females (Elves/Humans)- Blackwall, Iron Bull, Cullen

 

Straight Females (Elves)- Blackwall, Iron Bull, Cullen, Solas*

 

Gay Males (All Races)- Dorian, Iron Bull

 

Gay Males (Elves)- Dorian, Iron Bull, Solas*

 

Lesbian Females (All Races)- Josephine, Sera, Hidden/DLC Qunari/Elf Lady

 

It still wouldn't be totally 'equal', but it might work. That's hypothetically though, not knowing the characters, story, or anything else of course.

Actually I might give him a lady that's bloodthirsty and insane and will probably throw him away the second she's done using him. So he'll have a quizzy.

I like Cullen but lost a lot of interests once I learn I can't romance him as well.

I think I also gave Izzy one of my blood knights.

 

I tend to give my crappy characters to LIs I'm not that fond of. And my nice ones either end up single or with LIs I prefer

The only one I would change would be Sera. I'd have her be bisexual because I really wanted to romance her as a guy.

I have seen this for several posts now. Why would it be preferred over 6 options where everyone has 2 options just as the all bi approach would have been?
