For those who are unaware these fine people who also looked at Fallout, and Elder Scrolls Lore, begin their look in Dragon Age.
A very well done video. I look forward to watching the rest.
Alas, that ruins my plans on doing the same thing. I was almost ready to do it too.
Enjoyed the content they made for TESO, hopefully this will be just as good or perhaps even better ![]()
They have ashe writing for them.
And i was worried they would be making some errors but with her i now have hope.
GoGo ShoddyCast, With Ashe! ![]()
This series would be great for those who have not played the other games prior to playing Inquisition this fall.

It could do a lot more for you than "Lore in a minute." so i hope they get much more popular.
...Their choice of music really gets to me. That singing woman still gets goosebumps going on me.
Nice! I haven't watched them in a while but they did some great TES lore videos. Definitely going to watch the dragon age ones.

I don't like lore videos. They tend to be biased and interpret lore solely from a single perspective. They also tend to gloss over the obscure and abstract stuff which is usually the most interesting.
For example when someone tells me 'Talos came from Atmora' and they're really talking about Tiber Septim I tend to click the red x in the top right corner. Why misinform people through a lack of personal understanding?

As for the video itself. It's well produced and narrated. It's a decent foot in the door for the uninitiated.
Fascinatingly self-sufficient one can not help but be fascinated by them...

His name was Talos of Atmora when he first came to the Greybeards.
Tiber Septim was his name imperialized

No. Talos of Atmora is three people. Tiber Septim, the first Dragonborn Emperor of the Third Empire, was born Hjalti Early-Beard who is one third of Talos.

You aren't counting the identity of "Ysmir" as another person are you?

No. Ysmir is a title given to Dragonborn Shezarrine. Like Stormcrown. King Wulfharth, Zurin Arctus, and Tiber Septim who were all already his avatars Mantled Lorhkan by recreating his death. When the Underking (Wulfharth and Arctus) used the Mantella in Daggerfall Talos of Atmora the deity was created and from that point had always existed retroactively.

Nope. Enantiomorph is confirmed by Michael Kirkbride. No theory. Obscure, abstract fact.

but he wasn't a writer in Skyrim iirc, and the Greybeards seem to contradict that, and I usually take the most recent statement as canon.

What's in contradiction? There's Talos the God and Tiber Septim the man. Tiber Septim walked up the 7,000 steps. He also did a lot of other things like using CHIM to change Cyrodill from a jungle to a deciduous forest. And copulated with Barenziah. And used a giant Dwemer Robot God to conquer Alinor. The guy is the Most Interesting Man in Tamriel.
Kirkbride created the Greybeards. Hell Kirkbride created everything that means anything in TES.

do you have a source? I've been checking up on this since I'm not familiar with lore from the games before Morrowind
I checked the Imperial Library, the official lore thread on the Bethesda forum, and several wikis, and they all say Talos was Tiber Septim with no mention of the others

Look up the Enantiomorph and Talos together. There's a reason Talos is nicknamed the Many-Headed Talos. It's the fragmented soul of one god that coalesced into a bigger piece of that soul. That's a simple as I can put it.
Ah we're talking theories
It's a fact that the last boats from Atmora came long before Tiber Septim was even born.

The Many-Headed Talos is in Skyrim.
I love Shodddycast lore series'! I'm tickled they have picked up Dragon Age.
