 I just installed DAO on my comuter. When I start the game it is good, up until the scene after the red dragon finishes.  Now, I get a rubber band (left to right) across the top part of the screen.  . . . .  :happy: So I try re installing Direct x, and a patch that I found for this game (1.03). This does not help. I turn all the setting down to a minimum. This does not help. I try playing for a while to see if it will improve... well the loading screens do not have this problem. Also the screen fixes it self when I move 'grab' a modifier tab on the character selection tab, but then returns to normal (bad) after I let go.


Does anyone  know what is wrong with my game?

Well, the only patch that is available for the game is 1.02a that is official. What video card do you have? PC specs?

Graphics card is Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS
OS is Windows XP
2GB ddr ram, 280 GB hard drive, intel 2800 processor

yeh, thats the patch I downloaded, sorry for the confusion. I got it off the official Bioware site.

Well, thats the low end of the pc specs I believe. Have you updated your video drivers? That's the only other thing I can think of for you to try.

I thought I had the newest drivers for my video card.

It worked, thanks.

And Im running the game on high settings now.
