Because the qunari are awful.

I'd rather deal with the fanatic that would just kill me as opposed to the one that would turn me into a brainless slave with their Qamek.

But you can kill them both.

You're not forced to spare the Qunari.

You can kill both.

Why on earth wouldn't you?

Seriously plus watching Petrice get headshotted is always a highlight.

It doesn't matter. Slaughtering the Qunari population still violates the treaty.

Only due the Qunari.

If they had left it would have never happened.

The Qunari might kill you too, in the right circumstances.

Of course. I'm not saying they wouldn't.

But they weren't there to conquer. They were there to get the book and leave. The Arishok constantly tells you he'd rather walk away but something is keeping him there. It's obviously not invasion plans.

I don't see the need to kick a sleeping lion that's not bothering me.

(Of course they pretty much hung themselves once they attacked in act 2. But the Arishok knew that).

Not the point. It was the humans' choice to violate the treaty and start a massacre. It wasn't the legal response to the Qunari staying in Rivain according to the terms of the treaty. Both were violations of the Llomerryn Accord. Of course only the latter was monstrous.

When?
Shepherd Wolves just has the Qunari ready to explode at the idea of Bas-Sarebas, doesn't mention conversion.

Mages have to die when they don't have a handler to keep them in their place and pure, Bas Saarebas don't have those. Especially apostates like Bethany and Hawke.

There can be no peace.

Thedas and the Qunari cannot coexist.

Better to destroy their entire philosophy.

If that can be done without wiping out all the practitioners marvelous if not... if not I'll understand.

Oh.

Yeah my Hawke was practical. (and lazy).

The Arishok was annoying but so were most people in Kirkwall. Long as the Arishok wasn't messing with him they were good. Sadly that changed during the whole elf incident.

But Petrice pissed him off. He despises being manipulated. I only wish he could've killed her. But watching stealth Qunari was good too.

Hawke could infer that, but viewng the Qunari mindset as alien, I think It's reasonable for Hawke to be afraid for themselves or Bethany.

I consider followers of the Qun to be monsters.

I think you owe Timothy Zahn royalties for that line.

Meh a lot of them are raised into it and don't know any differently.

I look on them the same way I do the dwarves. A few might break free but most of them are trapped in the cycle *shrug*

Actually thinking back, I've been through this crazy "Genocide of all Qunari is only the morally correct path" thing with other people here years ago, back when I was younger and more serious about BSN. There was really never any point of repeating the cycle.

Hardly.

Like Darkspawn they must merely be destroyed for their existence.

Why? The qunari would never gain control over Bethany to do such a thing. Especially not while chained to a wall.

I actually meant considering them all to be nothing but monsters worthy being being murdered to the last man is kind of monstrous. Back in the day, I'd been horrified listen to that sort of thing but I've since become numb to the usual BSN stuff.

Now now unlike the Darkspawn a few Qunari might be salvageable. No point in killing them ALL if some are willing to convert.

Not THESE Qunari, so presumably this Hawke is all for kicking the Qunari into the next world.

We need qunari to work the brothels as well. Qunari and elves would bring in a lot of revenue.

But it is THESE Qunari. Any Hawke supporting killing them is just being a dick.

Bah it's pixel people. We mow them down on the regular in combat but joking about it crosses the line? Bleh.

Hey now, the Darkspawn are perfectly salvageable if you're willing to give up some blood.
